There's been a variant of the TRU exclusive Batman 5-pack out for a little over a month now, but I don't think it was ever mentioned here. I got one a few weeks back, and thought I'd provide some pics.

The regular set is straight reissues of existing figures: blue JLU Batman, "Batman Begins" Batman, Zipline Batman, "The Batman" Batman, and silver TNBA Batman.



However, the variant features repainted versions of the JLU and TNBA Batmen figures, this time in gray. This is the first time either of these figures have been released in these colors, so it's a pretty interesting variant.



I haven't seen the variant in stores myself, a friend on the east coast got me my set.

Maybe that gray JLU Batman could be Batman's crazy repaint for a new JLU single pack. You know like Racing stripe Superman and Safety neon GL. Gray Batman. Too wild?

I remember when HS posted this a while back and I look now and then, but I've yet to ever see the variant (so to speak) on the shelves. Don't actually need the set - but I have looked for it out of curiosity.
