Who is this "iPod" of which you speak and what episode of JLU was he/she in?

So apparently the new iPod Classic (that is what they are called), will be available at Target and other retailers beginning as soon as today. 80 Gigs for $250, I might be tempted. But the iPod Touch (with WiFi) is pretty damn sexy too--but sexy aint cheap.
Better to stick with PlayMobil accessories--easier on the budget.

Here's my Hawkman with a Playmobil axe. I think this is the one from the single box Black Knight that manthing was describing.

That Playmobil ax fits the bill for me. Okla's Man of Steel 's mace is dead on--but I am much too lazy for all that.

Before you spend a fortune on name-brand stuff at real retail prices, you should check out a couple of "Everything's $1" type stores.
In Long Island, we have what's called Dollar Tree and Dollar King. They almost always have gladiators and fantasy figures that come with decent accessories. They also often have miltary type figures that come with decent looking guns and other weapons. You can't go wrong for $1.
I picked up four gladiators (a total of $4) and ended up with an entire array of weapons for my DC Direct Hawkman and Hawkwoman set.
ALSO you can sometimes find the figures from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves pretty cheap on eBay. They come with perfect weapons for the 4-5 inch figures...they were, after all, re-paints of Super Powers figures.
My JLU Hawkman currently wields the very long spear/axe from the Robin Hood "Evil Knight" figure...which was a repaint of a Super Powers Hawkman. Even the wings on his helmet matched the wings on the Super Powers Hawkman's head. The Sheriff of Notingham figure from this line comes with a sword that is perfect for the Shining Knight...if you happened to pick him up in a 3-pack (with no accessories) rather than single-carded and need a sword for him.

Just got the new Hawks Minimates today, which comes with two maces, one of which is the perfect size for JLU Hawkman. Problem solved.

The Playmobile axe that Brand42 was describing fits Hawkman to a T... It even includes a shield too...
