I've seen pics of both but have only found the lighter colored version, I can't find the episode in which he appeared but based on Hawkgirl's colors I'd guess the darker Hawkman is the more accurate version right? And oh yeah, thanks Mattel for screwing this up too!

Found it- Fri 3 Aug 2007Toy Otter wrote: Found this today at my local Big Lots (check out Big Lots friends; *lots* of new Mattel stuff is hitting there first before Target, Wal-Mart, etc.).
As I was looking through the pegs I saw two Hawkman 3-Packs…but the Hawkman figures had very different paint jobs! The colors painted on the one on the left are much darker than the one on the right. The plastic of the head has two completely different shades of orange, and even the skin on the face is changed. Check out how the neck skin doesn’t match the shoulders on the figure on the right. Only the torso skin color is the same on both figures.
I have no idea which one is the "normal" version, if this is a running change, a variant, or a mistake. But I have no idea how you could lighten every shade of paint on the figure by mistake.
Very, very odd…

The more TV-accurate, the better... That Hawkman on the right looks like he's wearing a reflectorized costume... .

Its not just the colours that are off, if you look at that screen cap you can see that the boots go only halfway up the shin and not tight to his leg. Yet on the figure they are just below the knee.

Yeah, I noticed the weird, fluorescent colors right away when I saw the 3 pack at Big Lots, but I didn't think there was a choice (actually, there isn't so far, the ONLY ones I've seen were the two at Big Lots) or else I would definitely have gotten the correctly colored one.
