EDIT 6-1-07: Got a PM from someone wanting more info on how the list works, I guess we kinda took for granted that most of us went through this with Grundy last year, but here's my reply in an attempt to clarify things: Quote: First of all the list is just a list, that's all. A way of keeping track of who wants what and keeping it in some sort of order. The list is no guarantee of anyone getting any exclusive, it's just a way for the people who do manage to get extras to know who wants what. Essentially, this is what was done for Grundy last year. The idea, in theory is that if someone manages to get an extra JLU pack or two they would contact the first person on the list and see if they still wanted/needed the pack and would then move on to the next one and so on until the packs were taken. Each person works out their own deals. In some cases people went through the list and found people they've dealt with before and struck a deal with them instead of going in list order, and that's understandable.
If things follow the way Grundy did last year, a lot of names will drop off the list as people run to eBay or friends who've gone to the con come through. I had a friend go last year and I sent a couple hundred dollars with him and he and his group managed to get 9 Grundys for me (plus he got three for himself) and once my local friends and I had ours I started going through the list until the others were gone. The first couple of days of SDCC they were limiting one Grundy per person (except on Saturday when Timm was signing boxes then they'd let you have 2) but you had to get a ticket in the mornning and hope your ticket fell in the range they drew later in the day then you could present your ticket and buy a Grundy. On Sunday they just sold them to anyone however many they wanted (within reason, I'm sure). I've heard WWC there was no lottery but I don't know that for certain. Not sure how it will work considering that they've got three different items. I know that in 2003 you had to pick just one, Green Tweety Bird, Batman or Keldor, but I think that was the last year they did that. The variant Man-Bat will just be a random thing for the people buying the Man-Bat, there really isn't a way to easily tell which version you're getting without opening the outer box.
I know that was probably a lot more info than you really wanted, but... If you do decide to hit eBay, unless you manage to find a really good BIN auction (or one with no bids ending in the middle of the night) just hold off until after WWC as Grundy's asking price was cut almost in half. The figures and packaging are the same it's just a difference between a SDCC or WWC sticker on the outer box. Okay, put me down for all 4 DC exclusives. Here's the list as I see it so far, [EDIT]Please make a new post if your name is not already on the list for something or you want to be taken off one of the lists, going back to the older posts is impossible to keep track of... EDIT 8/03/07: Trying something different. Names in RED should be considered off the list. Daniel,
Unless I win the lotto I won't be able to make it to San Diego, but just like last year, if you don't mind, I'd like to start a sign up list for the JLU Exclusive.

Gotcha. I've put you all down for the SDCC exclusive "Barbie's friend, Skipper w/JLU tshirt".
Mattel guaranteed us that there would be enough for everyone.

J. I really hope it's the Skipper that grows when you raise her arm - that way I can get a t-shirt that turns into a sweatshirt!

Well, I was gonna join the list but now I guess I gotta wait. Oh well...just count me as a member of the list if there happens to be a JLU exclusive at SDCC, but if there isn't a JLU exclusive then just forget you read this post.

Sign me up. I know this is just a list for the LIST, but if nothing else, just to show support of this great line.
