That is an awesome list with some great characters. I really hope it's true that Charaxes and Sinestro are coming.

We've been told that there is going to be a female in wave three, and there is none listed. The female could be the BAF Or Robin...

"Any truth to these line-ups?" somehow asks about general truth re: the line. But him using the word 'line-ups' in his answer could mean anything- to me it sounds like 'the arrangement of the figures is wrong for the most part' But hey, that's just me

I'm skeptical as well, even with them being offered online. Buuut, they still sound pretty good. And with all the "tent pole" characters, maybe Mattel's just trying to start out really strong.
And Charaxes? Why can't he just be named Killer Moth? lol

I doubt these are completely true- I like all the characters on the list though, except that I want more female figures to round out the line, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, and Zatanna in particular. Val

While Beast Boy would be a great choice, I'd rather see Cyborg done, if only to do another Super Powers character. If DCUC covers all of the figures from that line (minus the characters made only for the line) then maybe we can get a debate going on which is the better line. We've already seen it with JLU, why not here?

One thing is ,they did say we would get a female in wave 3. Yeah, all true but Mattel can change character selections, line ups without the 4H approval but what I don't understand is Charaxes is a villian of Batman, well Robin actually, after Neron changed Killer Moth into Charaxes and not Superman

Series 3- M5704 BATMAN 2 M5705 CAPTAIN ATOM M5706 ROBIN M5707 BEAST BOY M5708 DEATHSTROKE
Series 4- M5709 WONDER WOMAN M5710 GREEN LANTERN M5711 SINESTRO M5712 NIGHTWING M5713 ARES
Series 5- M5714 SUPERMAN 2 M5715 MR. MIRACLE M5716 HAWKMAN M5717 SHAZAM M5718 CHARAXES exactly on Flash, why put a BAF of Grodd in wave 2 and then no Flash to follow a few months later in wave 3, not very collector minded and I bet the Batman 2 is the Batman being released now or is a variant costume from No Mans Land story with the yellow oval bat, just needs a new headsculpt and he would go perfect with Deathstroke but I'm glad and hope we are finally getting Nightwing and Robin out of the way and I'm thinking the BAFs are Solomon Grundy, he originated in Gotham, Killowog and either Kalibak or Darkseid, he will have to be remade eventually and Superman 2 is the long hair version and I'm thinking the variants or some are of Robin and Nightwing to justify giving us these two again within a years time and I also think we will see a diff GL in series 4 and Hawkman in series 5 but that is a lot of big hitters out with the first year, many could have carried their own series though

If they want to put a random rogue in there, why not Charaxes? I mean, Superman doesn't have a rogue to face in wave 2 either. We'll get Black Manta, Harley Quinn, and Grodd, but no Super-rogue there either. Oh, and I love the idea that the female in wave 3 could be the BaF. Say it with me folks: GIGANTA!

I'm surprised that no one has brought up the possible versions and variants with these line-ups...
Series 3- M5704 BATMAN 2 - since we got a "classic" Batman in wave one, I'd say this is modern, maybe a battle-damage variant from battling Slade M5705 CAPTAIN ATOM M5706 ROBIN - would this be young Dick, teen Dick or modern Tim? If it's young Dick they could do a red-headed Jason variant... as much as I want a Stephanie Robin I doubt that's going to happen... M5707 BEAST BOY - masked vs. unmasked? M5708 DEATHSTROKE - this would definitely be masked vs unmasked
BAF could be Raven with that big raven shaped magic burst of hers...
Series 4- M5709 WONDER WOMAN - gonna say modern on this one... M5710 GREEN LANTERN - whoever this is could have modern vs classic costume variant M5711 SINESTRO - classic costume vs Sinestro Corps or GL costume M5712 NIGHTWING - please not the high-collar, disco version... please no... M5713 ARES
BAF: Giganta or Kilowog?
Series 5- M5714 SUPERMAN 2 - I'll say this one will have the "classic" look since the electric versions were in wave 2, but which "classic" look could this be?... M5715 MR. MIRACLE M5716 HAWKMAN - mask variant? armored variant? M5717 SHAZAM - classic Billy Cap vs modern Freddy Cap M5718 CHARAXES - no idea on a variant, but a 4H Charaxes will have to be extra icky...
BAF could be a Superman villain...

Hey Jim the only variant you didn't mention was the one that makes the most sense:
Mister Miracle-Shilo Norman
