I've been trading away some LE's I won at tournaments to get uniques for some time now. Never played Ultraman. Word is he has a glass jaw. Good for the first few clix and then aweful.

elvis8batman wrote: The whole "LOBO is too adult for kids excuse" is a joke. Marvel have no problem selling the Punisher to kids in the toy stores, and he is a "human character that is a cold blooded killer" as apposed to an "alien character" that has been allowed to be shown on a kids cartoon show.
Basically, it's one of those situations where common sense doesn't get through to the decision makers, and the answer "NO" is backed up without any other reasoning than "because we said so".
It sucks, it makes no sense, but unfortunately I don't see it changing anytime soon. Uhm...YEAAAAAAHHHH...guys, as a major Lobo fan, lemme tell ya- while I'm not thrilled to hear that Lobo is off limits, I DO assure you I understand the reasoning behind it. Oh sure- Doomsday did kill Superman, and Ghost Rider and Punisher can be violent at times, but they DO NOT HOLD A CANDLE to Lobo on that. His comics are REALLY risque, ultra-violent, and are very often mature-content based. but there are THREE characters I want from Lobo JUST AS MUCH, if not more( since we already have DC Direct's)- Jonas Glim, Vril Dox, and Gold Star. I would kill for those. And if I can't get 'em, I better pull out the ol' custom fodder

I don't play Heroclix, I just collect them from time to time. Unfortunately I don't often collect enough clix to get good enough ones to trade, but I'll keep on fighting until I can find a way. Just might take forever.

Nothing is striking me as new there, but good stuff anyway. It's always good when the 4 Horsemen get their due credit.

Dearly beloved we gather here to say our goodbyes.
Here she lies, no one knew her worth...

Let's just hope said figures in Feb's Toyfare aren't Fuschia Batman, Chartreuse Superman, and Burnt Sienna Flash.
Glad to hear there's something coming, though...hope whatever it is will actually be purchasable at retail!

I'm going to start my own blog so I can ask Mattel some questions.
1. Is the JLU line still alive and is it ever going to have Lobo or Hal Jordan or Question or Captain Atom or Captain Marvel or Mr Terrific or 10" Atom Smasher or 10" Giganta or Blue Beetle or resculpted Supergirl or Watchtower personnel or the big fat lady who is mean?
2. Will you ever make creepy life size versions of female characters for us to lovingly dress and comb their hair?
3. Fighting Figures, why are they so lame?
4. In the DCUC only characters from the 60's, 70's and 80's are good, don't make any modern age figures, they are dumb.
5. I used to hate "the Batman" figures but now I love them, are you ever going to make Wonder Woman or Aquaman or Flash or Lobo or Question or Captain Atom or Captain Marvel or Mr Terrific or 10" Atom Smasher or 10" Giganta or Blue Beetle or resculpted Supergirl or Watchtower personnel or the big fat lady who is mean?
