I finally got my hands on a JLU Solomon Grundy: what an outstanding figure! Even on the shelf next to Darkseid and Doomsday, he's very intimidating. I hope the Grodd sculpt compares in person - and that it doesn't take me as long to find one.

No point worrying until Grodd is reported at retail somewhere. Then we can start the hunt. I expect Grodd to be easier to find than any other recent JLU figure.

Yeah. I have a feeling Grodd will be very easy to find. Can't wait to actually see him in person and put him with the rest of my big, bad guys.

Should I be worried then? About finding Grodd, I mean. 'Cause none of my Targets have ever received the purple boxed, lava reflection Doomsday set.

I still don't have Grundy. The only ones I've seen here in the Philippines are signed and outrageously priced. Would've preferred 'em unsigned and more affordable.

They just put out the first case of them at a Target by me Tuesday AM-maybe they finally sent them to the Central East Coast DCs - finally snagged it-- a little better than I expected once I had it in my hands. And its in the purple box-- so it will be clear to you whether or not its there

I happened to stop by at a comic and toy expo and found a guy selling three Grundy's for $30 each. I decided to bite the bullet since I've always seen them at eBay for more.
Normally, I open up my toys. But once I took this one out of the outside box, I couldn't take him out of the package. The package was so nicely done with the rumble effect. It seems like it would be a great shame to take him out of that. I decided to keep him in the package and have him on display in one of my cabinets.

Finally saw the new Doomsday pack today. Looks better in person. But I'm saving my next twenty dollar JLU purchase on the Grodd set.
