I was thinking how cool it would be if Hasbro and Mattel got together and did a Marvel vs. DC line, mostly in 2-packs like, Supes vs. Cap or Hulk vs Doomsday,et,etc. Even maybe some of the Algamation figures. Just a thought but it is probably alot of red tape to go through to get this done.

Back around when the first Toyfare special came out (which I think was at the height of the Amaglam craze), it was brought up in the magazine and I believe it was Jesse from Toy Biz who said while it was a neat idea, there was in face just too much red tape to go through.

It would be great, but considering the number of "suits" at Time Warner and Marvel AND at Mattel and Hasbro, I just don't see it happening.
Of course, that leaves the arena open for customizers!

Yeah, Marvel and DC cannot even get a comic cross-over going these days. I would hate to see the tome of paperwork required to do something like that.
Don't get me wrong, I am still an avid Ml collector, but putting a figure like the new Namor in a package with DCUC Aquaman would make for some good laughs. And groans. DCSH is already kicking Hasbro ML butt. Just think about DCUC. Yikes!

Maybe if the idea was brought up, Hasbro could at least take some action-figure making lessons from Mattel. Oh those ball joints!

I don't collect Marvel stuff so I wouldn't be interested in that. There's also a lot of people who only like DC or only like Marvel.
