What is your opinion on this upcoming line? No one seems to be talking about it. Does that mean there is no intrest? Does it mean we are just more focused on the DC 6" or Animated lines?
1st cool thing about this line. Hal Jordan. right away. no waiting. Except until the line releases.

I have a Supes from SDCC and he is pretty cool. I will be interested to see the price point and availability. If those things are in balance I will probably pick at least some of them up. The sculpts are great, I just hope all of the big cannons and whatnot are removable.

I've heard almost nothing about it. It looks...okay, but I honestly don't have much interest in it. I can see myself picking them up as an impulse buy, but I don't see myself really "collecting" them.

The only thing that really interests me is the Hal Jordan GL. And even then, that's only because it may clear the way for our long awaited JLU/DCAU Hal.

Well, I had a case on order with BBTS when they were part of the game but that was cancelled. I was really excited when they were first shown They were actually the thing I was most looking forward to when Mattel first showed them. I want to reorder them, but BBTS doen't know who's in the case. And I really don'tr want it to be 3 or 4 of 1 set and maybe 1 or 2 other sets. So I'm waiting to see who's in the first assortment and what's the case breakdown. Because I was looking forward to these and I really wanted Batman (both versions) Green Lantern (Both versions), Green Arrow & Aquaman to name a few.

Plan to get the characters I've always had a fondness for like GA and Batgirl, but I'm not sure about the rest... I guess it will just depend on price and availability...

I hadn't heard of them until I saw this thread. I took a look and think I'll take a pass. Too bad. The only line I collect at all right now is JLU and it's getting so hard to complete it's not even fun anymore.

Got this from the Wizard Universe preorder page...
And here's a link to AFI's Toy Fair Gallery (which has better pics of the Battleague/Fighting Figures http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/tf2007/mattel.shtml ...I do like the look of these, I just don't want to feel the need to collect "one more thing."
(updated with AFIs link)

And the gallery link to AFI's SDCC 07 coverage has been reset. Top of Index page.

Looks to be twelve sets, with all being hero vs villain except for one...
Green Arrow vs Lex Luthor
Superman (flying) vs Darkseid
Scarecrow vs Robin
Batgirl vs Joker
Superman vs Joker
Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern (flying)
Two-Face (orange/purple suit) vs Robin (leaping)
Batgirl vs Catwoman
Penguin (white tux) vs Batman (black/grey)
Harley Quinn vs Green Lantern
Harley Quinn vs Martian Manhunter
Two-Face (black/white suit) vs Batman (blue/grey)
All heroes are represented twice in the line except Green Arrow. Joker, Harley and Two-Face are the only villains that get two figures. 15 different characters total, but there's no way to get just one of each without overlapping a couple of sets (all characters could be gotten without the Two-Face/Batman pack, one of the Joker sets and one of the Harley sets). Thankfully, these aren't supposed to be blind packed anymore but I think the MSRP is $10 a pack -- I really hope I'm wrong on that pricing as $6 seems more in line with Attacktix pricing.
Are the bigger pieces like the Batmobile still coming?

I would have bought them if they weren't basically the JL versus Batman vilains.
They should have used other villains.

Wel the problem is if these arent part of a game-- the projectile wapons and such look really goofy and pointess-- I know that they will be market as an action feature to kids but-- its a little disappointing- especially when it looks like some just have a suttle pose change for a different weapon-- the main thing will still come down to the price.

The complaint for many DC lines.
Heroclix first set for DC was overrun with Batvillains.
