I've been after Mattel to make a Golden Age Batman repaint for years now. Throw in a Fleischer style Superman, and an Alan Scott Green Lantern and I think you'd have a heck of a three pack!

I like the way you think.

But that's it? No one besides Scott wants to see Golden Age characters in the JLU line?

EEEEEEEEEEEEeeeek! No no no, I want to see ALL the golden age characters!!! First though I gotta say I prefer the classic version of any character to any of the remakes and revamps... The original is almost always better... I mean we still need a real Aquaman! The original Starman! I'd love to see Alan Scott and Jay Garrick! And of all the repaints they can and DO of the big 3, why not a Golden Age version? Why do we always get battle damaged versions? :?

Oh, I'd take the complete golden age line of characters, but Alan is easy to make with some swapping and repainting of parts - Kyle Rayner Head, Red Tornado cape and body. So easy even Hasbro could do it.

hey you know me Mike - I'd be thrilled with any and all GA characters, esp the obscure ones - Spy Smasher, TNT, Mr America, Tarantula, Johnny Quick, Amazing Man, the Freedom Fighters...
