I was over by mattel HQ at lunch today and stopped in at their store. Not much to report there...
ALL of the 6" DC figures were gone... and they have had a TON of Orange Doomsday's, Parasites, Bizarros and Kal-Els for MONTHS.
No more JLU GL 3-packs... as a matter of fact the ONLY 4" JLU figure I saw was one single (purple) carded Orion.
Where the old 6" DC figures used to hang were the JLU Superman/Batman 2" Diecast 2-packs. Quite a few of them.
Then I saw a sign... saying there was a Mattel TENT sale around the corner. Hmmm.... So I headed over.
A lot of Barbie, a lot of girls and baby stuff... a lot of spanish versions of talking toys (Spanish Tickle Me Elmo!!! I almost bought one).
There was a COMPLETLY empty (I mean bare wood) palet that said "Justice League Unlimted Assortment $2.49" I didn't see ANY JLU figures anywhere.
Saw some 12" Max Steel stuff.
A case of the most recent "The Batman" figures (with the new day-glow Firefly). And some "The Batman" transforming vehicles.
Some of the "Hero Riders" Superman and The Batman Hot Wheels.
Then they had the first 30 or so cars from the CARS line in a big blue bin for $1 each!!!!!! and 2-packs for $2!!!!!! People were going CRAZY for those. Yeah... I bought some of those.
That's what I saw today.

Well, they were giving out this big folder of pictures that was labeled "JLU new figure line-ups 2008-2009" but they were all the way over on the other side of the tent and I didn't think anyone would be interested in them anyway since the line has been pronounced dead by you.
