I finally found a Blue Devil yesterday and, of course, opened him up as soon as I got home so he could join his fellow Leaguers on the shelf - but I'm having a heckuva time getting him to stay standing because of the way his tail is pointing. Does anyone with an open one know whether it's supposed to turn in the socket?

No it's not.

I've had this same problem, too, but I remedied the situation with one of my magnetic stands.

The Tail and the Staff actually work together with mine to get it to stand up. I was suprised to stay the least.

Yep. I'd say it's the best-standing JLU figure. 4 points of 'standation' LOL

Mine falls all the time--despite manipulating the tail and staff to help him stand. Rubbery legs are part of the Devil's curse I suppose.

Like Primetime said the staff really does help him stand.

Anyone thought of swapping Blue Devils legs with the legs from an Aztec figure? It would be more on model as his boots are meant to have cuffs at the top and the legs on the older JLU's like Aztec are made of the stronger plastic. Bit of a paint job and there you go, one new Devil!

Plus there a chance those legs are a bit longer (I don't know if they are as I haven't checked) if so, the tail might not be as much of a problem.
