This may not be news to many of you, but over this past year, with such little selection at Target, Walmart and TRU, I have noticed that Dollar Tree, K-Mart and Big Lots have all kinds of cheap, generic and knock-off figures with cool weapons and accessories...which go great with our JLU, DCD and 6" figures.
At Big Lots, they've got Firemen, Police and Army guys with all kinds of stuff. Dollar Tree and K-Mart have Gladiators, Spartans and Pirates with ancient-looking weapons, and Power Ranger knock-offs with futuristic-looking weapons.
Since it's been slim pickings in the action figure department lately, I have augmented/improved my collection with some interesting items, for example:
A bullhorn (for Commisioner Gordon)
A walkie-talkie and electronic control pad (for Mad Hatter, and others)
Binoculars
Pistols
Machine guns
Ancient Weapons (for Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Etrigan, Dr Fate, etc)
All kinds of Tools (for DCD Black Mask)
Crow Bar and Hyena (for 6" Joker)
A flashlight and binoculars ( for 6" Bruce Wayne...for cave exploration)

I buy those Big Lots/K-Mart figures all the time just for the accessories! They're usually cheap as dirt and I've added the accessories to my BTAS/STAS/JLU figures.

Problem solved...the DC Minimates Hawkman & Hawkgirl set! I picked this up months ago solely for the weapons. I am surprised no one here has mentioned it as of yet. Anyway, you get two different-but-perfectly-proportioned maces (one for your JLU Shayera and the other for Hawkman!) and a shield that is slightly two small.
Also, if you happen upon any old Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves figures (perhaps on ebay), you can get a bunch of other medieval-looking weapons for Mr and Ms Hawk! The Sheriff's sword is perfect for Shining Knight.

I buy these figures all the time for the accessories, too. A lance for Shining Knight, guns, crossbows, there's lots of potential there.
Also, nobody's mentioned using the Stargirl Minimate's Star Rod with the JLU version. I did this and it works great -- little short, but still better than trying to customize one. And the STRIPE Minimate is just plain cool.

I bought a playskool set that had an axe and ball and chain-y type mace, that is now part of Hawkman's arsenal (the mace is in his hand and the axe is sticky-tac'ed to his hip) the scale is great. I will try to remember to upload some pics when I get home. Plus the set was cheap like 3 dollars or so (but it may have been on sale). The same set had a 2 swords that probably could have worked on Shining Knight.

That's actually how I "finished" my Super Powers Green Arrow, which I had bought incomplete. Picked up a Robin Hood and repainted his accessories!
(But since the scale is close, it's a great idea for JLU, too!)

Cool. I think I'll pick up the Hawkman and Stargirl Minimate packs.

Think of all the accessories that are out with singles...
Shining Knight - Sword
Hawk and Dove - Shields
Red Tornado - A little tornado thingee
Green Lantern - a big hand thingee
Superman - Kryptonite
Wonder Woman - Lasso
Batman - Batarang
Starman - his rod thingee
and plenty more. I have all these figures, but I'm not at all going to buy a single version just to get an accessory, the only one I'd consider is Shining Knight, but I'd rather have his horse:) BUT I would buy a pack of all these accessories re released. It'd be the cheapest thing for Mattel to do!

If you bought a Robin Hood Kevin Costner figure, it's actually the same mold as the Super Powers Green Arrow. I'm not sure if the bow and arrow are the same, though. I bet Toyotter knows!

Eeeeeeeeeeeew, it's creepy looking. I checked ebay for the robin hood figure and it's literally Green Arrow's body with Kevin Costner's head. Trippy
