Found all of these at a Dallas area Target today! Great figs! Only complaints (minor ones mind you) are that Reddy's yellow stripes get pinkish due to runny colors and Metamorpho's plastic feels a little more breakable than the regular figures. That being said, those two are my favorites. Rex's clear leg was bent funny at the knee when I first got it, but a quick dip in boiling water straightened it right out. Finally, my brawls will be a little more even as my heroes were severely outnumbered before this wave came out!

And is there any significance to the eye color difference?
classic Reddy always had white eyeslits, modern Reddy has green eye slits

Hm. I wonder if we'll ever get official confirmation? I actually have no interest in this, and I think the detail would be best left for the Modern RT.

Didn't Young Justice RT have black eyes/mouth slits like Iron Man?...

Yeah, that was the 90's RT.

Uhh...yeah, I already did What I was trying to say is I wonder if Mattel will come out and officially state that is the variant, since they've been secretive about it at this point. And also that the green eyes would make more sense as a variant for the modern Red Tornado variant (which it could very well be I suppose).

I'm glad the top part of the cape on Reddy is somewhat flexible; I bent it down backwards behind the head to make it look a little less stiff. I may find a way to keep it there; it makes it look more like the SP figure.

It took me a few days, but I managed to come up with the rest of the DCUC series 1 figures. I was missing Red Tornado and Orion, which meant I hadn't finished building Metamorpho yet. Tonight I'm covering these three today, and while my overall impression of the line is still very high, I have to admit that Red and Orion weren't quite as nice as the other three. Let's hope these random QC problems don't end up indicative of the line.
You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Can't wait to see the rest of the review Michael!
Having had them a while now I've actually grown to like Red Tornado more. Orion is definitely my least favorite as mine is just warped and wanky.
I really like Metamorpho, though my pal got one with defective hip pegs...
All in all a great line. A few minor qc problems but nothing that can't be overcome.

My Metamorpho's left leg (the clear one) will not rotate. At all.
I have him in his turd base (where I had planned on him staying for good anyway), so it doesn't need to move, but I can't put him in a standing position as a result.
Other than that, no complaints. Thanks, Mattel!
