As long as there's no ninja batman, scuba batman, gold plated bling bling batman, the line ought to kick butt.

I agree. I don't want a neon orange Batman.

Ra's al Ghul won't be in "The Dark Knight" though. Aren't these figures just for the new movie?

My woman's intuition tells me they'd be TDK characters, not a mix of BB and TDK. Having said that I figure it's 3 diff Batman, 2 diff Joker and fingers crossed a Two-Face. But isn't scarecrow returning in TDK? And if one of the good guys is Jim Gordon, well the I gotta get me one of those!!!

As for Alfred-- uncle Alfred can suit me up anytime but I ssseeeerrriously doubt mattel would mass-market a manservant, even in the collector-oriented 6" TDK line (as opposed to a kiddycentric 5" TDK line).

I expect more peg-clogging Bat-figures, just like the previous Bat-movies and Superman Returns based figures.

Exactly why they probably won't be peg-cloggers. They won't be anything like the toys from the movies you mentioned.

I'm more worried about the retailers over-ordering these Dark Knight figures, and under-ordering DC Classics and "JLU" because of that.

Thats a valid concern....but I think I'm more worried about over ordering on the kids line :?
