Let's go on the assumption that between 3 packs and single packs we will see 8 new figures. I believe it will be closer to 12, but let's go with 6. Now that they have the master license and have had plenty of time to get things organized and have said it will be geared to collectors, who do you think we will see? Predict your 8 figures e will see. I will go with the following:
1) Firestorm - surprise character because he wasn't on the show.
2) Black Manta or Devil Ray
3) Deadman -Could be in a 3 pack with Devil Ray and Batman
4) Capt. Cold - LOD figure to appease us old timers
5) Capt. Marvel - Probably easiest of the off limits to make as he has been
done before in the Mego line and Super Powers
6) Atomic Skull - would look quite cool
7) Dr. Midnite - Would be first mass market of this character
Plasticman - Again a surprise not on the show figure and was part of the
Super Powers line. I've read that they want to make most of
those figures part of this line.

I agree with most of the names Bizarro listed, Plastic Man is my most wanted figure though.

In addition I want the Question and Captain Atom. But honestly I'll pretty much buy any characters they put out....

Toy Guru said in one of the "Ask Mattel" Q&As recently (can't remember which site's) that they're trying to fill in the more important characters from the television series before branching out into other characters.

Ergo, I don't see Power Girl, Firestorm, and Plastic Man making the cut so soon.

It all depends on how many heavy hitters Mattel wants to put in the first wave. Shazam, Plastic Man, Firestorm, etc are all good, but do they want to put them all in one wave or spread them out to maintain the health of the line longer?

I'm with you. It would make more sense to spread them out.
