I am constantly amazed at what can be created with Lego. Granted the Lego SW license has gone to the moon and back, but the fact that they can be so easily adapted to any and every type of character and vehicle and playset you could want is still pretty amazing even after all these years. I love the smaller LEGO X WING, to me it was perfect. I had only hoped that LEGO would one day do other licenses like New BSG and Classic BSG, both would be amazing imo. Even if it was just for a viper and a cylon ship. It would be worth it. kevblev from Brickshelf.com created some amazing ships. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2611963Considering that LEGO has done PIRATES OF THE C. and other motion pictures. I often wonder what if LEGO would just do One shots of different licenses just to keep the variety going.

I would think they would be on par with LEGO SW, enough fun for everyone. I wonder if LEGO is game enough for that. It will be interesting to see what happens now that Disney owns the rights to SW.

I dunno - I think they might see it as a conflict since they're so involved with the Star Wars franchise. I'd love to see it happen, but I'd be very surprised.

I dont think SW is ever going to be on shaky ground, especially when it comes to LEGO. LEGO has done various scifi themes, but nothing that really lasts more than one season. Considering the amount of licenses held by DISNEY ---THE BLACK HOLE, 20,000 LUTS, etc there could definately be some one offs that would appeal to the older collector (USS CYGNUS, THE PALOMINO, NAUTILUS (classic)) I wouldnt be surprised to see CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG or MARY POPPINS at this rate. Lets not forget TRON and TRON UPRISING/LEGACY. I thought POTC was very well done. I have the MB version, wish LEGO would have done a FLYING DUTCHMAN, that would have been pretty cool.
Even with MB HALO line, its cool to see Warcraft in the lineup. I just thinking LEGO really needs to stretch out a bit with the licenses, even with some amendments, a GALACTICA rag tag fleet in mini with all the ships and one larger UCS BSG, would be pretty kickass.
I would love to see an AVENGERS HELICARRIER or MASS EFFECT NORMANDY, that would also be pretty damn amazing.

I don't see Lego picking up the BSG license any time soon unless new media starts coming out and garnering much more interest.
However, I do feel that BSG would make a great entry into the Cuusoo brand option

Klik have you looked at the Galactica minimates sets and ships? They did a really imppressive line up of most of the new cast. The even did 2 sets of the classic cast.

Yeah I did, love the Minimates. The pilots were the best. Just wish Revell would have made their Viper a bit bigger, they would have been perfect. I still hope we get Vipers with pilot action figures made in 1/18 scale or close to it. That would so make 2013 for me. I even have a GAL 356 shuttle from a garage company that I have yet to put together. Just wish it was in Minimates scale.

Just if you werent aware- this is not a Disney Movie-- people usually just think it is due to the fact that it has Dick Van drogsnagger in it, and was openly designed to feel like a Disney Movie.. It was produced by United Artists People think the same thing about Anastasia- the cartoon as well.

Still, there are quite a number of licenses for Disney to choose from its stock.
