Lego Simpsons found (at least coming from a back door in Europe) Obviously the heads are the only things that are accurate as the bodies are mock ups, but I think they look good. About as good as they could. Since their heads are so big, it shouldn't be hard to find all 16 with the 'feel' method.

Are we sure those are lego-- and not a hoax-- nothing whatsoever makes them look like lego to me--

If they are real I had hoped for a more lego-ey look to them-- Thats what made lego minifigures cool- the cross license but still 100% similar-- even star wars fully sculpted heads are few and far between. If thats the way they are going- Im very disappointed--

TMNT are fully sculpted heads too.

Part of the appeal of Simpsons is the very signature look. If they were just standard heads it might look a bit odd....

Plus, I imagine it would cost out to being a bit cheaper to produce than if they had done a muzzle and hair piece for eachfigure

Yes the turtles and the mutants are-- but none of the human figures.. Shredder, Foot Ninja, April, Android, Baxter etc..

Like I said thats the appeal of lego--- If you said they were making a figure of the Isotopes Goofball- then yes that can be a fully sculpted head piece.. but the others-- I dont agree.they should be standard lego.... plus adding more hairstyle pieces would make the customizers happy.. I think they already have pre- existing ones one for Burns, and Disco Stu. and adding deco to the bald cap gets you a few others, And I think some of those Anime ones they did might wiork for lisa or Maggie , or the Queens Guard hat painted blue for Marge..

The Toy Story legos also had sculpted heads. I my opinion, if they did them like traditional minifigure heads, they would look terrible. To capture the character the had to go sculpted. Also, I think these are 100% real. The heads that is. Bodies are obviously place holder

I agree, they need to look like the Simpsons characters. If they lose some of their "lego-ness" in the process, that's okay.

I do like how they look. I don't want them to have standard lego heads. Remember Blockos?

Well I guess Im in the minority on this-- but they just dont feel like lego to me-( I think they feel like some of those "custom" star wars figures people sell on ebay- by putting 3-3/4 figure heads on lego bodies.).

- just another redone simpsons line in smaller scale. I think in a vacuum if it wasnt for the hands-- you really wouldnt even know they were lego.. ..

Its going to make me go from all in to a select few characters (of course those select few will probably be the entire first wave of characters that lego chooses to do) ...

Why is Marge in her "party girl" costume?

Because Homer and Ned are the only final figures, and Lisa and marge's heads are just put onto random bottoms. I'm kinda curious how they are going to pull off the skirts. My guess, like homers half painted arms, they will paint the legs down to the knees to simulate skirts.
