We've got several Toy Story LEGO sets, and we might be supplementing some of the characters from the Buddies line. BUT, absent from either line, and the Imaginext line, is Potato Head. Anyone know of a Potato Head toy close enough to scale that he'll fit in with LEGO or TS Buddies? It's driving me nuts.

Thanks Stewbacca--I'll have to watch for that. I do wish he'd be included in the current lines, he's such a central character.
And MAN he's got huge hands!

I recently went on a spree buying up all the older Toy Story Buddy Packs I could find. I had trouble keeping track of all the characters they made since there were so many combinations produced, so I just grabbed everything. I ended up getting all unique figures but the Robot and Snake set, and only one or two duplicates of Woody and Buzz.
If anyone is interested, I'll post a thread listing out each two-pack, and highlighting the ones you would need to buy to get one of every figure and minimize duplicates.
I am hoping there'll be a sale when TS3 comes out so I can get the new stuff for cheaper.

We're planning to start collecting TS3 figures. There's so many to choose from.
In the mini line, it looks like Imaginext or the Action Links/"Buddy" packs from Mattel. Anyone have any of these?
We have a ton of Imaginext figures already so it'd be great to mix and match. It looks like Action Link line has a wider variety of characters. Knowing us we'll pick up both anyways.
Even the "medium" size line looks great. But at $10 a pop, probably a bit too pricey for our kids.
If there's another Toy Story 3 thread here, I'd appreciate a helpful pointer.

Go with the Buddy/Action Links. Then you can expand it to the Batman Action League stuff.

We already have a full collection of the Action League Kids love them, but bummed out some of the figures have problems standing. I checked the full TS3 Imaginext catalog and it is really limited right now. Heading to TRU after work to pick up both 7 packs of the Buddies. Definitely going to get the Imaginext Buzz and Pork Chop spaceship at least. Imaginext Space Shuttle is perfect for Buzz. Kids are going to have a blast adding these to their SuperHero Squad/Action League/Imaginext sets.

I saw that Pork Chop ship at TRU. Awesome and hilarious! Target has the Buddy 2-packs on sale for $5 a piece this week.
Can't wait to see this list guys. Anything to help with doubles would be greatly appreciated.

I'd really like to see a TS3 Buddy FAQ/Wiki type thread.
I did some basic research and it looks like the TRU 7 packs are a great way to start out a collection and cut down on duplicates down the road?
