Lego Super Heroes!

Anyone who is on the fence about getting the upcoming Arkham Asylum set, go to

shop.lego.com

click on the link for hte Arkham Asylum set (scheduled for Jan 1 release) and click on the movie clapboard for a quick movie with the designer.

I won't spoil anything here just yet but I will say, after watching the movie, now, more than ever, I WANT THIS SET!!!!!

I will certainly be picking Arkham up.Although I am still bummed I cant find the older one for less than $450...Now thats steep! And they are releasing a new Tumbler! It will be "Banes" version though in desert tan. Its a DKR version with the Batplane from the movie as well. Hard to tell from the images how large it is and if its the same construct as the original but made with tan pieces.

I also finally begged and pleaded (and paid) my way to the Aquaman I posted the pic of earlier in this thread. If the hair piece thats on him is custom Christo has to be using molds of the lego hair because its not painted. Its yellow molded hair. Looks/feels factory...Now if I only could nab his Flash minifig for a bit less than an arm and a leg!

You know they are doing a Aquaman figure sometime next year right? The one with the white costume batman and Mr. Freeze.

Super Shaft, get on the horn to Lego and make them make these!

That Aquaman set is the single coolest set due out next year. And what they did with it is what they should be doing. That is, releasing other non Bats/Supes characters in sets that anyone can buy. I like the white Batsuit too, strangely enough. If it were an action figure I would hate it. But it totally works for a Lego minifigure.
