So first up - I have no idea which board this belongs on.

I just want to talk about the Teen Titans line of figures. I've been thinking more and more lately of getting into buying a certain few of them, but they seem horrendously priced on Ebay, and the nicer looking ones are rare.

In particular, I'm looking to scoop up:

-Bumblebee
-Speedy
-The Raven and Beast Boy that came in a Two-Pack together
-Battle Action Slade (who is 5 inches, and would look good alongside the teens)
-A larger Cyborg that would work alongside the 3.5 inch teens
-Gizmo (that's the name of the green kid who is a mechanic, right?)

I'd want to pick up Mas y Menos as well, but they look to be too large next to the teens, and that would throw off the scale.

Battle Action Slade looks a lot like the toy that was shown at a convention to have a mask that tilts backwards to reveal a skull. Can anyone confirm this?

I don't really like any of the Terras except the "evil" one, but I'd like to see a "good" version of her in her team outfit. Anyone ever seen nice customs?

I once saw an awesome customs of Kid Flash on Ebay (I think he was made out of an Aqualad, but I'm not sure) and always kicked myself for not buying him.

I'd LOVE to see a Wonder Girl made in this style as well, but since she never fully appeared on the show and only in the comics (and the line is dead) I guess I never will. Anyone ever seen a nice TT-styled custom of her?

Maybe it should be in Vintage Varieties as this was not a Mattel line. Although something so recent hardly seems vintage.

Nope, it belongs in General Tiy Talk with Bandai's other big line's (Ben 10) discussion.

Any good checklists/visual guides of what was in this line at the different scales?

The 3.5'' figures are great, but Mas and Menos are way out of scale, as is Puppet King and Master of Games.

There's a visual guide here:
http://www.titansgo.net/toys.php

This site is good too, but it's not as complete:

Good luck with your search. Some of the figures are incredibly expensive on eBay, especially considering that they didn't sell well in the first place and were dumped on clearance outlets. Most of the figure I picked up were half-off at a KB outlet store.

Which ones were you able to pick up Greg? I'd love to see a pic of your collection...

I think I checked out those toy guides in the past and found them infuriating...

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me what differences there were between the standard figures, and the "sitting" figures that came with vehicles? It looks like Speedy's arms and legs are bent a little bit to accommodate him sitting in his vehicle...or it may just be the original figure sitting - I just can't tell from the pics I've seen online. Can anyone help me out and tell me what the differences are between these versions of the figures?

If you want some good pics, ask Angel. She got most of mine.

I have the Battle Action Slade and the Dive Action Aqualad on eBay right now. I got them in a huge lot of stuff I bought at a flea market.

I know little to nothing of more recent, modern toy lines and series. I had no clue what they were and put them up for sale for a $1.00 each (under the assumption modern toys aren't worth much, especially loose). I got suspicious when my inbox was being flooded with people too eager and quick to buy them, so I researched them and put them on eBay.

Toy collecting and selling is pretty ruthless, lol.

The only figures I'm missing from the 3.5 inch line are Hot Spot and Bumblebee, which vary in price on Ebay from too high to way way too damn high. Maybe someday I'll find them at a reasonable price, but that day may have passed.

I got into this line late and had to scavenge about to find them in stores. Getting them nowadays, that's gonna be tough.

Sorry it took me so long to take these pictures.

These are the 3.5'' figures I have. I never got around to taking them out of their packaging. And I just realized that I'm still missing Slade and Raven in her dark cloak.

You'll notice in the pictures that the second Robin has a resculpted head and a longer cape. Cyborg was completely resculpted.

There are also earlier sculpts of Beast Boy and Aqualad that I don't have.

Thanks for sharing your pics! It smarts a little that these were so easy to find once upon a time (though not for me...I never saw them here in Canada, but still). And it's especially nice to see how Bandai tried to improve the character sculpts with every new release!

*cough*

Wish they'd taken another shot at Terra...her normal figure is...pretty lacking.

Amazing a Jinx figure was never made. Or a Kid Flash either. I mean, they were planning on releasing the Doom Patrol? That was like four figures, plus a Beast Boy and a "Brain" thingy. How would they divide those into packs? Or would they be singles? Confused about that.

Anyways, if anyone has any loose Titans they would like to part with, don't hesitate to PM me :)

Should of sold you mine, sorry man.

My Slade only sold on eBay tonight for $11. Sucks because I saw the same figure sell for $52 not long ago!

Aqualad sold for $10.

I guess the fig selling for $52 was just another crazy eBay fluke. Or maybe it's Master Chief, hehe...

I forgot about the regular Terra. Ugh. One more to add to the list.

And one more to remove! I picked up this Cyborg on eBay the other day:

Yes. You should have. Just ribbing ya, man. It's okay. Sometimes we think we have Ebay gold. Ebay's a fickle, fickle place.

Neat! I don't think I've seen him before...what size is he? The Five inch Cyborg seems to tower over the 3.5 Titans. Maybe this guy fits in with the team better...? How bout you take him out of the packaging, snap some photos and let us see :)
