From that thread... Quote: The interesting part of this picture is the promo picture of the Classics line (20cm tall) Lion-O. Very similar to the Icon Heroes statue but with complete articulation. Additionally, there will be 15cm (larger?) deluxe variations of the modern standard figures, with pretty much the same design.
The available playsets were only the Tower (replacing the Lair?), the Thunder Tank and the Tron-like bike (that can be stored inside the Thunder Tank). Each figure features a magnet and they communicate with the vehicles (maybe it recognizes each character but I'm not quite sure).
The figures are quite small, very similar to the Ben 10 toyline but much more articulated and very well detailed (if the identical figures make it to production). Panthro has scars throughout his massive body and they were actually textured instead of just painted.
Additionally, there will be deluxe 15cm versions of the new figures. Lion-O looked older in the pictured one and he wears a big armor.
The classic Lion-O was looking very loyal to the original design, I could easily compare this figure's picture with the MOTU Classics toyline.
I'm pretty much positive... but a little bit concerned about the classic: I'm not quite sure if it's only going to be Lion-O!
I'm afraid the Classics will not be mass-produced. It said something about "Limited edition'...

I like it. The thundertank looks like the Tumbler.
I read somewhere those are going to be 3-3/4 scale. Nice.

I watched this and enjoyed it. If I had a complaint, it would be that Loin-o was supposed to be a teenager and did not look it. Now he does, but so does everyone else. I doubt the royal family would have a bunch of kids as their imperial guard. I suspect what this means is that there is a new series coming out making them all kids like GIJoe did. I have seen a couple of those and I don't like it. I hope this doesn't ruin Thundercats. I don't see WilyKit and WilyKat, could go either way, or Snarf either, I really hope Mum-Ra finally had him for dinner. Hope the mutants look good and they bring in the other Thundarians later too.
CCC.

Looks good to me. I'm really excited to get a better look at those 3-3/4" figures come Toy Fair time. I hope photography is allowed then so we can get some nice images.
The new toon looks interesting. I'm really hoping that someone picks up the comic book rights and reprints all those Wildstorm trades I missed out on!

I'm thinking I'm on board. ESPECIALLY If they do a classics line!

If the classics look faithful to yesteryear and they aren't priced higher than MOTUC then I'm on board.

I so can't afford another toy line... Who am I kidding? I'm buying these the moment they hit retail. Maybe sooner. The Sword of Omens, the figures, Thundertank. I'm getting it all.
