The official details and pictures are up for the first ever hyper poseable Godzilla toy line from Bandai. These figures will have around 29 points of articulation and are set to rival Bandai's S.H. Figuarts toy line in quality and design. These will feature popular Godzilla characters and likely other monsters from Toho. First up is Heisei Godzilla, followed my Heisei MechaGodzilla. More photos and details here: Bandai Officially Announces S.H. MonsterArts

These are an instant buy from me. Luckily, my Japanese retailer friends will get these for me at cost, which should help save a couple of bucks. I really hope they do some classic Toho monsters as well!

I prefer the original design over the Hesei version.

Uber-sweet....but OUCH!! That price hurts. We really need that yen to dollar ratio to start getting better real soon.

Love to have it, just not worth it at that price, especially since the "hyper-poseable" stuff doesn't matter when you don't take anything out of the package. I said the same thing to this year's Bandai offerings. I have all the other series they put out in the past decade, but this year, other than the color of the packaging, looks very similar to what they've already put out. I already have a Final Wars Godzilla. Why spend another $20 for another one? I have Mothra. Why get it again? Give me something significantly different, you have my money. Give me something better, you've got my money. Give me the same old thing in new packaging, forget it.

While I've never really bought into too many Godzilla products in the past (they were always just too hard to find or a bit too generic for my tastes), these are going to hurt to pass on.
The price tag makes them really prohibitive for me, but man oh man do I want that King of all Monsters!

NEVER has a Godzilla action figure tempted me so much. I'm not a huge fan, but I've probably seen all the 60's and 70's films and several of the newer movies. And the fact that you get an army of vehicles . . . I'll have to think long and hard about this. The fact I don't want either of the other offerings might make it a bit more palatible.

Ya know, when it was just the figure I thought, "Man! This is so Frakkin cool! I soooooo want one...." and then I saw the "effects kit" with the army of little combat vehicles... Now there is no way I'm going to let this pass by. Got. To. Buy. Gojira!

Thanks God that I´m not so interested in this figure, ´cause is a really good one, but I rather save money for other products.

I wish Bandai would not have stolen it away from Kaiyodo. The Revoltechs were fine and the Bandai ones are too expensive. Not too mention Bandai will have more exclusives to Tamashii Web which will be expensive through a proxy.
