...there's a picture of Pitt in the new ToyFare.

I asked over at Erik Larsen's forum and he said:

Quote:
Dunno if I'm supposed to say anything--but I've seen sculps on Dragon and SuperPatriot at this point and there are plans for more. Stay tuned.

Sooooo....sounding good!

Jeff

Interesting. Hadn't heard anything about this. Will they be Marvel Legends style? Somehow "Image Legends" just doesn't sound right....

I wonder how McFarlane feels about this....

What other figures are going to appear in this line? As of now I have zero interest in any of the ones stated above.

The rumored licenses so far are Topcow stuff(cyberforce, witchblade, darkness), and Seth Green's the Freshmen. A good way to figure out what Toybiz might have is to see who Shocker couldn't get, I think.

No wildcats or team 7? All I want are Grifter, Backlash, etc. too bad...

I'll get Dragon, but I don't care about the other two mentioned.
I do hope some of the recent Image hits like Godland and Invincible get the plastic treatment. But what I would love to happen is The Maxx and David Finch’s Ascension figures!

Wildstorm is owned by DC Comics now, not part of Image any more (for several years now).

I hope that this doesn't kill the Shocker line before it even gets started. While I have little to no interest in any of the Image characters, I desperately want several of the older indy characters on their list, most especially Nexus. I don't see how that line can last without at least a few of the better known Image characters to support it.

Of course, at the same time, I don't feel there's really a whole lot of interest in the Image characters as a whole. I doubt this line will last more than two or three waves. If this is how Toy Biz is looking to restablish itself without the Marvel liscence, I can't forsee them being around too much longer.

Unless Mr. Larsen is referring to the Shocker figures. Because I've seen the prototype for the Shadowhawk figure for Wave 1. Which looks pretty cool.

Wizard has posted the pic on their site. So, if you haven't gotten ToyFare yet you can see this amazing figure here:

http://www.wizarduniverse.com/magazine/ ... 644206.cfm

My best wishes to the guys at Shocker, but I feel pretty secure saying this isn't a Shocker sculpt.

Details to be revealed in next months ToyFare.

Jeff

Is Toybiz the one handling production for this line?

That's an awesome sculpt on Pitt. Any idea of scale? It looks huge...

Peace,

Chip

I wouldn't have a problem with Shocker if it weren't for the fact that everyone I know that has done work for them has been completely screwed then they might be an okay company. If you're gonna hire someone to do a job, paying them might be a good thing. Hopefully they will straighten up their act but right now, I'm hoping ToyBiz teaches them how things should be done. With all the Image, Top Cow properties out there that aren't spawn related, they can put out some really cool figures. Now that they don't have to worry about keeping kids & collectors happy they can really cut loose and show what they can do. I want to see them do several of the properties like City of Heroes (just imagine this, they can make just about anything they want), Battle of the Planets, Mage would be cool, Witchblade, SOCOM : Seal Team Seven, Youngblood, and many more.

Another hint that this is a ToyBiz image... Look at the background of the pic.
