Actually, I owe Jeff an apology. I ragged on this line pretty hard when it was announced even when PITT was the only figure shown.

The rest of the line, while consisting of characters I don't really care for, is probably one of the top three lines shown at Toy Fair. Just awesome sculpts, great articulation, and fantastic assortments of varied characters.

I'd never have thought in a million years that Monkeyman & O'Brien would be made into figures, and that brought a smile to my face when I saw them.

This is a line I may be picking up!

Peace,

Chip

Dude, no you don't. You're free to like or dislike any line you wish. It's no skin off my nose either way.

That being said, I'm glad you're liking what you see and another potential customer is good for the line.

Jeff

WOW! I'm am truly blown away by the ramp-up for this line! I was kinda nervous when Liefeld was announced as a part of it, but go figure...his licensing is all kinds of jacked up! Oh well, it looks like I may never get an articulated Chapel fig!

I'm glad they're going after Black Bull stuff, Image Stuff and Dark Horse stuff as well! I really want to see a City of Heroes Line just for us customizers (actually, everyone would become a customizer!)

Am I the only one who thinks Pitt is way way too big?

The final figure won't be that big. It'll be scaled down.

It's not quite a 2-up...more like a 1-1/2 up.

Jeff

I'd say nobody. Those characters are co-owned by DC and Marvel and I'm not sure they could ever work out the legal red-tape it would take to get those into a figure line because it could be construed as stepping on both Mattel and Hasbro's deals. That said, I'd be all over Amalgam HeroClix!

The comics state that the Amalgam characters are a joint ownership between Marvel/DC. So, unless Marvel Toys and DCD have a cross-over or something we won't be getting toys from that from the Indy Legends line.

....

Now you got me pining for Amalgam figures again... I'm gonna have to custom Super Soldier, Spider-Boy and Dark Claw for sure now...

I hate to be mean, but yeah... you're right. I saw photos somewhere for their display (can't remember where, or I'd get the link), and it was weak. Katchoo looked like one of those old plaster statues you'd get and paint. Just not good. I just hope that Baron and Rude are able to get Nexus over to MT....

I want Marvel Toys to make EACH AND EVERY Valiant character.

That would kick all kinds of ass.

Peace,

Chip
