Man, Deathstroke is fugly. This was the only pack I was considering (even Aquaman looks too odd for me), but after your review, I'm going to pass.

Nothing that I would notice on brittle at all. The hands are somewhat rubbery like most MU and Joes of today to accomidate various accessories. I have heard of some QC issues with the line though and I wonder about the brittleness. Nothing I notice in the handling of them though. It could be that parts are and I just haven't noticed (Thighs are one I am hearing from some as well as the Biceps). But on these two I am not noticing it (Then again if it is just certain parts it would be hard to tell until breakage).

I admit I mostly bought it for GA, deathstroke is just slightly better than ok, it's the New 52 influence I think.

I just hope the line lasts at least until Black Adam.

I think these figures are pretty great. Too expensive, sure, but I would rather pay more for good figures than pay less for the crappy figures Mattel is trotting out - I saw the new Superman figures at Wal-Mart today and they made me sad.

Compare it to MU which is often repainted with new head the price isn't so bad, at least they have all original parts.

Most 3 &3/4 are $10 now, these work out to be $12.50 each, it's really not THAT bad of an increase.

Edit: Noting that HTS has Nick Fury for $14.99 (and he has a reused Shield trooper and Winter Soldier body) puts some perspective on this.

Nice review-- however-- how was your feel on the plastic-- does it feel sturdy like MU or Joe-- or does it feel brittle like the GL sets or the old SUper Hero Showdown?

Having just got my WW and Grundy set I am going to re-address this:

Grundy is very noticeably brittle plastic. If you get that set I would be careful removing him from the package (Get all the twist ties off before removing him) BUT he is very cool. The plastic is similar to the Mezco Hellboy figures (and I have broken a few of those with little effort).

Wonder Woman and Solomon Grundy get a look at this time. Enjoy.

Got my WW/Grundy pack recently. Grundy's sculpt is awesome, but yeah, his construction/materials remind me a lot of Kilowog and Atrocitus, so be careful with him and make sure to test all his joints before messing around with him too much. I'm not an actual Grundy fan, so I don't care about his different outfit or hairstyle too much, but it is definitely a nice looking figure (although one other critique of the construction is that his elbow joints only bend like 30 degrees).

Wonder Woman is pretty disappointing to me. I mean, I knew the outfit was going to be the Injustice one already, but I was really hoping to finally get a 3 3/4 Wonder Woman that was just done well, at least so that I could just have a nice looking amazon (or possibly a Sif stand-in). Unfortunately, the look on her face is incredibly plain and unexpressive, and she basically has just a dab of paint for her lips that give her a slight "puckered" expression. The paint on her nails is way too heavy, covering at least the first digit of her fingers. I also think her arms are too thin for the plastic they used, and feel fragile (and yes, the joints are made of a clear plastic that is painted and already chipping; I really don't know why they would do this, or why they feel a character like Wonder Woman needs puny stick-figure arms).

One neat thing though, is that the Wonder Woman Infinite Heroes heads actually fit the body fairly well, especially the one from the Doomsday pack. I'll probably just leave it on her, since the IH body is nothing to shout about, and I have a normal IH WW anyway.

Still looking forward to Superman and Black Adam, but based on zedhatch's review, I'm glad I passed on Deathstroke (not a fan of Green Arrow, so he wasn't a factor for me.

Edit: Nevermind, I got it.

Anyone know which foot-peg stands work best for these? I'm quite liking them, but getting them to stand up is a big problem

My GA/Deathstroke set arrived yesterday from DCBS. Love 'em.

I'm ready for some more reveals as to what's coming in this line. I'm sure Batman's coming. That's pretty much a given. Hoping for Shazam!

Doomsday, Bane and Lobo would be mighty sweet, too.

In the injustice game there is an insert for upcoming Merch. They show the Nightwing 2pack as coming with Superman. Now that we know Nightwing is coming with Raven, who is Superman coming with?

Is this something new? Raven was announced as coming with The Flash. Has that changed?
