I know we've talked about this some, but the JSA wave 1 of Ross inspired figures has been solicited.
jay Flash, alan Green Lantern, thom Starman, sandy Sandman.
Honestly, although I enjoy the JSA in printed form, the prior run of the comic was great, and I like that Geoff Johns has brought in new characters like the new Amazing Man, I'm not a big enough fan to buy these in plastic. As part of a HeroClix set yes. As part of an action figure line where each figure is going to cost me 15$, not so much.

I was going to support these but not at that HUGE 7 inch scale they're trying to force down our throats.

I had a interest in these, but it is a skip for me as well. Too big and outside of Starman, really not all that impressive. Not a surprise, as these were already shown, but they looked a little better to me 'in person' than in these press shots. And for two lines based on Alex Ross, they really do not match up very well at all.
The only thing that has any interest for me this month are the Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece figures, oddly enough. But I'd rather spend that kind of money on the Iron Man, if any.

I thought I might get these, but so far I'm not too impressed.
They look to be a pass.
When are they going to solicit the Perez line?!

I'm so bummed to see that these will be done in 7" scale...
They never learned from their mistakes.

Love the sculpts but with all the other nonsense, the money I would have spent on these will go to DCUC.

Put me down as another one skipping these because of the ridiculous scale.

It's like they've given up even trying to pretend that their products are 6.5" scale.
I don't collect DCD anymore, but how tall is the Justice Superman?

I have no interest in these JSA figures, especially since if they were determined to do an Alex Ross wave, IMO, they could have finished off the major players from Justice first.
Outside of G'nort, I don't think I'm planning on picking up any DCD figures that have been solicited.

The Scale thing really hasn't bothered me. I'll pick up the whole set more then likely.

I'll probably pick up the "Old School" figures - Green Lantern and The Flash - but not Sand or Starman...however, I'll be curious to see how they tackle Hourman...

I've really enjoyed alot of the Ross JLA /JSA figures but as has been beaten to death i'm not digging the scale and that pretty much has killed most of my interest in DC Direct. I may still get the two Kirby New Gods figures and the Geo Force figure.

The only reason I'm getting these figures is cos I'm a die-hard JSA fan...lol...though I'm perturbed by the scale as well...
Hope they come out with more JSA folks such as Dr Fate

I would have gotten all four characters if they were a bit smaller, but these Alex Ross figures might as well be Megos without the fabric costumes. If I had a larger display, no problem. But my acrylic case shelves only go up to around six inches in height.
Too bad, though. That Starman is the definitive version of Thom Kallor for me. I also love anything that involves Alan and Jay, two of my favorite JSA members.
