Didn't JLI come out in the late eighties?
I just want to be clear, as that's the period I want to vote for.

My vote would be finish what they started already instead of start something else they're not going to finish.
That said, more Kirby New Gods, more Shazam! family, and for god's sake, the rest of the cast from Ross' Justice. The Legion of Doom is the most iconic collection of supervillians ever assembled and there is not one single line that has them all in the same size/scale and style.
I vote DCD not "explore" anymore new directions til they finish up the stuff they already started.

Yeah, JL is tough to decade as it changed in 1987 and then again in 1996. I was trying to give examples of characters / groups who were big names in those days. The JLI were the JL for the 1st 1/2 of the 90s.

I voted Morrison's JLA, but I do not know how well Howard Porter's art would translate into 3D plastic. Plus, Porter's art has changed much in the last decade. So new turnarounds by him could be different from his JLA run. For example, Kevin Maguire's upcoming Gnort figure.

I voted random as I'm happy with a mix of eras, all-star, else worlds, etc.
What I really want from DCD is an ongoing Gary Frank Superman line!

I was just wishing for one of these earlier today.

Few things make me as nostalgic as Morrison's JLA era. That's what I grew up reading, and I'd love to have those memories immortalized three-dimensionally.
On the other hand, I'd love to have a full DCU in the Alex Ross style that started with the Justice figures. With the new Ross JSA line starting up, it only seems natural to do the whole universe. At least as many as Ross would be willing to do with his odd character biases. I like the scale and the figures look great for the most part, so they could get a lot more money out of me.

I guess I started reading in the Silver Age.
But I've also had a "great love" for The Golden Age ... and the JSA.
However, seeing some of the alternatives... instead of voting for the JSA-- I voted for the Silver Age.
I'm always at a bit of a loss to read that some of you don't seem to want those All-Star JSA heroes ... ???
Geesh. I would love to see each and every JSA and INJustice Society member from All-Star #3-#57.
After those CLASSIC heroes, DC could go ahead and work their way forward in time... and I would think they are finally on the "right track."
I want the "foundation" laid to the "house" first.... and then build from there.
It seems that many of you have no appreciation for the past. Or what is it?? I could never understand just wanting the time period I started reading in. I was always "reaching" out to what has come before.

JLA Foes & Villains (Felix Faust, Ultraa, Dr. Light)
Teen Titans (Hawk & Dove, Speedy, Aqualad, Bumblebee & Harlequin)
Doom Patrol (with both Cliff Steele Robotman and Golden Age "silver" Robotman)
Metal Men

Would like to get a Modern Owl-Man, Ultra-Man, Super Woman, and the Rest of the Crime Syndicate, The Key, Zauriel, and Prometheus all from the Morrison era Justice League. The last time the Flagship DC comic title was worth reading.

I'm kinda saddened by the lack of votes in the poll
I guess no one but a select few ever really leaves the Mattel forums
