Ocean Master will be MINE!!!!! Finally!!! Man, they SO have to do a Mera for this line.

But yeah, they've finally made an Ocean Master. It only took DC Direct over ten years and a thousand Supermans and Batmans later...

I think the look of these figures is pretty good...they seem to be apeing the DCUC body which is not a bad thing. I am a little sad they wasted a spot on Superman, but I guess those decisions are made by smarter people than me!

I also will join the choir that wishes they would get the lead out on making female figures for this line....but from what was previously mentioned, we still have several more missing males like Martian Manhunter and Elongated Man before that happens...

My number one pick would be a beautifully sculpted Perez Zatanna like so many other people, but I have doubts that George and crew will move forward with that after the backlash regarding the Identity Crisis figures...but it sure would be nice!

I know DcDirect has made at least 2 versions of Elongated Man
(JLA and Identity Crisis).

Has there been any word as to if Plastic Man will come with alternate hands (like the awesome Alex Ross version) or if he is exactly as is?

He means missing, in that, we've been told the names of some of the characters that are supposed to be released in this line a while ago, but they have not been solicited. Martian Manhunter, Elongated Man, and Nightwing & FLamebird of Silver Age Kandor were some of them.

Perez draws some of the most beautiful, yet varied, women in comics and three waves in with no female characters...

Isn't the first wave of these due in the next week or two?? I'm curious to see if anyone picks them up. If not for DCUC I might be tempted more to try this line. If in scale (yeah right) with DCUC I'd be all over that BL and BD for sure out of the first two waves.

I am in for both of those Captain Atoms in the George Perez style? Sign me up.
Like i said definitely getting Blue Devil and Manhunter. Don't want to start another DC Direct line after I've decided to sell of the majority of my collection but Blue Devil and Manhunter are two I can't pass up. oh and of course Black Lightning.

It will suck if this line is ALL guys and no girls.

Wow, Blue Devil and Manhunter are out this month, at long last. Can't wait for Black Lightning and more 70's/80's characters.

I think THIS is the craziest thing about this line.

Dang. I thought the first wave was out today but it looks like they've been pushed back to the end of July. Wave two is now supposed to come out first.
