Aside from the detatched tongue, I really like that Arkillo. The head scuplt just seems better than the GLC one. Once I get my hands on the CnC, I'm going to have to think hard on which one I'm going to display with the rest of the Sinestro Corp.
Mera was a bit disappointing. DCUC is spoiling me, because whenever I buy a DCD figure, I keep wondering where all the articulation has gone. Beautiful paint job (although mine has a few scales that weren't painted), but you can't turn her head more than 20 degrees and her hands can't hold both her trident and her lantern.
Dex-star is fun, but I can't get him to stand on his own, so I put him by Mera's leg. Anybody out there get the Rage Cat to stand up by himself?

I just got Arkillo last night. I really like him. Reminds me of the DCD Kilowog. Nice and substantial. I thought Mera was great but for the fact that she can't hold the staff and the lantern at the same time. Dex-Starr is cool but impossible to stand so I ended up using a Kaiser stand and placed him down with my JLU figures for the timebeing. He's small enough that in JLU scale, he just looks like a really big cat!

I got mine to stand-- try twisting his tail downwards to his right side. It supports him underneath the direction he's leaning.

Anybody have any pics of RL Mera? I'm leaning towards getting her, but I'd like to see some pictures first if anybody could help me out. Thanks!

just picked up the Black Flash. Great looking figure. Very happy with it.
Don't have a camera, but i have the Red Lantern Mera as well, and i'm rather happy with her.

I just opened my Hawkgirl, and I was stunned by how perfectly the tabs on the wings moved.
Almost makes me want to buy another one and give the wings to that horrible piece of absolute garbage Hawkman.

Today also saw the solicit for the Blackest Night boxed set.
Black Lantern Blue Beetle Sapphire Fatality Indigo Munnk and Half Blue / Half Green Hal Jordan
I'm not sure I'd buy any of these individually for $15 each. So the set is definitely a no for me.

Wow, the negativity surprises me.
This is the first box set from DC Direct that I am "all in" for.

I just saw the solicitation for the box set as well. When we first saw this, I was all for it. But seeing this... they just don't look great to me. I'd buy Fatality individually, but for the probable cost of this set, I think I'll pass.

This is a "all-in" set for me as well. It's nice to add some different characters to the Indigo Tribe, Black Lantern Corps, and Star Sapphire Corps. Plus we get that really cool Green/Blue Hal Jordan. Not too thrilled with the book that comes with it, but otherwise this will be a "first day" buy for me. Also I will be buying the majority of GL Series 4 (not that piece of crap Power Glow Hal). I like this Stel more than the DCUC one.

I really want this set, specially for the Hal Jordan figure, since I decided I prefer this repaint thant the original from the Blackest Night series. And of course, the other figures are awesome additions, yep, great set with great figures.
