I'm guessing it ties into what is going on with Wonder Woman book...in the recent "Rise of the Olympian" story, Diana faced an enemy called Genocide, which was revealed to be her own reanimated corpse brought back from some point in the future by Ares. Maybe this plays into Blackest Night somehow...

I'm not sure why we need another Star Sapphire (unless it's Yrra Cyril).
But what really bothers me is the orange shirt on Black Lantern Aquaman. If you're gonna be a Black Lantern, commit to it. I could accept black, grey or white, but orange really sticks out compared to the others. I hope it's not orange in the comics.

Yep. There's nothing in that picture I don't want.

These figures all look great! I'm going to be tempted to buy some of them, especially the aliens. It would be nice to be able to find out if Mattel has any of these figures in mind for DCUC any time in the future.

Is there any difference between the Blackest Night Star Sapphire and the one released in the GL series? I didn't notice any. Do you guys thinks its a straight reissue?

The surprise repeat figure for me is Black Hand. BH did not sell near me when they made him in GL set 1, and you can still pick up that figure for 8$ at one store near me.

I'm sure WOnder Woman wasn't shown because there is about to be a fun twist with her...
As mentioned. she could be a Black Lantern since her current storyline features a deceased version of Diana...and when you look at all the Black Lanterns so far, most are JLA members, so it would be cool to have a collection of undead JLA!
Or she could get chosen to be a Star Sapphire or another ring color....red would be cool on Diana!

Ah yes, but this figure includes...a skull accessory! Surely that's enough to get everyone to plunk down another $15 for this guy. On a more serious note, I'd absolutely buy him for $8. I think he's very well sculpted.

Well, I'll be getting Arisia and Kyle at the bare minimum. Possibly John as well, but I'm cutting back on my toy buying, and there's no way I'll be able to get all the figures I'd really like to.
I do wish I'd picked up the Guy figure when it came out though. I've got the older one, but he's got the bowl cut, and he's in my JLI display.

Of course not, I was referring to Bruce Wayne. Oh wait. Are you reading Booster Gold ? Yeah, no Batman currently.

Looks like it to me. I didn't pick up the last one, but still have the original, who can't stand except on that "Sapphire" bubble base.
I wish they had made this Sapphire as Yrra/Fatality to go with the new John (like we really need ANOTHER John?) and Kyle may be a redeco of the previous JLA wave Jim Lee costume with a new head?
add me as someone wanting that RL Dex-Starr as an extra accessory to another Lantern!
That BL Firestorm is SICK! altho he does kinda remind me of the head Daemonite from WildCATS.
Ghost6 - Diana might be taken by the Red Ring, but rescued by the Blue ring like Hal, too. I can see her as Blue or the more likely Sapphire.
and someone else hinted in here about Ted Kord coming back as someone we've already seen in Booster Gold?

I'm not positive but he picture of Star Sapphire in the new issue of Toyfare looks like she is cast in translucent pink plastic. Can anyone confirm that?
