I got the JSA figures. Haven't opened them yet but I will tonight. Starman is cast in a translucent glitter-filled plastic. Looks incredible.
My store did not get the Supes/Bats wave in yet. Maybe they will have them next week. But I'm not that concerned about it, the only figure I am wanting in that wave is Livewire, so ...

I picked up Batman & Superman from said wave at Hot Topic. $20 each but when I saw them, I couldn't control myself. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I saw the Superman/Batman set at Hot Topics today, but unfortunately there was no Batman left which was the only one I wanted.

TRD, My local Hot Topics had the JSA figures today also. I almost picked up the Alan Scott, but passed.

I just want to get a good look at Starman. I am sure the fact they are in scale with the Alex Ross Justice line will make them all tempting!

I shop at Comics Etc. for those in the area. Its a great shop with a long history in Rochester and one of the best staffs I've ever had the pleasure of talking to. Very knowledgable and genuine.
Went back again today and they still don't have the Bat/Superman set. I will have to remember to ask about them next time I am in the shop.

Ah, Comics Etc. I have fond memories of speeding out there between classes at R.I.T. to pick up the Knightfall books (and many, many others). I still stop in when I can, or when I miss a book at my local shop, but I am usually in Buffalo, so I get my books from Seely & Kane. I could get my toys there too, but DCBS has worked out well for my DCD needs, especially since my shop doesn't usually just order toys for the wall, like Comics Etc.

After reading a couple of ho-hum reviews I wasn't planning on getting these until they went on sale, but that description of Starman got me interested again. I'm a huge fan of Thom's costume since the Levitz/Giffen Legion days. Now that it's been featured in both Starman and JSA, I love it even more. And I'm a sucker for anything cast in translucent plastic.
