Quote: June 12, 2009 - Green Lantern fans listen up - DC is going to be offering a very limited item this July at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con. For the first time, fans will be able to collect Hal Jordan not only as a Green Lantern, but as a member of the Red, Orange, Blue and Yellow Corps as well. Interested? We thought you might be. Read on for the details, including which colors will be available on which days.
The most important details are these: you can only get these items during the San Diego Comic-Con and supplies are extremely limited. Fans will be able to line up at the Graphitti Designs booth (#2315) for these rare collectibles starting on Wednesday, July 22. But here's the catch - you'll have to visit the booth each and every day for the latest color. Each customer can only buy 2 of each figure.
Here's the breakdown of availability:
Wednesday (Preview Night) - July 22 - 6:00 pm Hal Jordan: Green Lantern - 3,000 pieces available
Thursday, July 23 - 10:00 am Hal Jordan: Yellow Lantern - 1,500 pieces available
Friday, July 24 - 10:00 am Hal Jordan: Blue Lantern - 1,500 pieces available
Saturday, July 25 - 10:00 am Hal Jordan: Orange Lantern - 1,500 pieces available
Sunday, July 26 - 10:00 am Hal Jordan: Red Lantern - 1,500 pieces available
Each figure comes with its own lantern and a wearable power ring customized to each Corps. Each figure is available starting its respective day, and will continue to be on sale until it is sold out. As of press time, pricing information was unavailable. Each figure comes in its own four-color box. Be sure to check out the photos in this article for a better glimpse of each Hal Jordan figure.
Happy hunting, Green Lantern fans. And enjoy your convention travels.
The 2009 San Diego Comic-Con takes place from Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26. Stay tuned to IGN.com during that time for all the latest information from the show including movies, television and, of course, comics.
YEAH! All over that and I am getting two each, one for display and the other for easy customs!

I thought about posting this earlier but got lazy haha. I usually don't like DC Direct figures but those look awesome.

Thanks for posting the info Mr Todd
I would love to have these figures, but it looks pretty unlikely.
I never had an opinion on the subject of con exclusives, good or bad, but I've never REALLY wanted one.
UNTIL NOW!
Sucks that I'll never own these.
Great idea for exclusives tho'.

Is it going to be available as a box set containing all figures or are they selling them individually only? I also wonder how much these are going to be.

Thanks for the link and info. These look cool.
I know Graphitti does a ton of DC Tshirts, but what is the point of having DcDirect figures at the Graphitti booth?

Is there anyone out there willing to set up a LIST for these? I would love to get my hands on a set but with the limit of 2 it seems that the only avenue many of us will have is eBay. And with those production numbers ... I shudder at the thought of the final bid prices these will net...

I know Graphitti does a ton of DC Tshirts, but what is the point of having DcDirect figures at the Graphitti booth?
I wondered the same thing. I was going to give them my business by purchasing all of the corp t-shirts anyway, but snce i am going to be going there every day would it be cheesy of me to get the figure and corresponding shirt?

I am willing to bet that they will be "cross-promoting" their shirts when you try to buy the figure. That's just smart classic retail strategy.
If you are already interested in buying the shirts anyway, ask them for a deal. "I want the exclusive figures and a shirt or two. Can you throw me a bone?" or something a little more subtly/cleverly worded.

Oh, and isn't everything we do in this hobby just a little bit "cheesy"?

Wow...now that is what you call an "exclusive"! I am going to sdcc this year, but I don't think I would even attempt to get these...I can only imagine the frustration of getting a green, blue and orange but missing the yellow and red...ugh!
And the amount of time you will be stuck in a line over 5 days is staggering. Cool
Concept, but this could drive you insane trying to get all five. And you just know that the one panel you are dying to see would be first thing in the morning as you wait in this line.
It's too bad the production runs are so low on these, I would bet money they could have doubled their quantities and still sold out.

I want the blue one for no other reason than I'm a hal jordan fan and my favorite color is blue.
