I know Graphitti does a ton of DC Tshirts, but what is the point of having DcDirect figures at the Graphitti booth?

DCD doesnt' sell anything from their booth at the show.

DCD and Graphitti have worked together before, so there's a relationship there...

The DC booth is not set up to SELL anything. The Graphitti booth is and is always right accross the aisle from the DC booth,

Grrr.... I want these and was NOT planning on attending on Preview night.

Preview night has 3000 of the bread & butter Green Hal so i am sure the next morning you can still snag one when the other releases.

I don't remember him being yellow either....and I think technically he wasnt blue...only half blue right?

Boy, seeing these in the pics above make me think crazy thoughts about potentially standing in line all 5 days...

Let's see....it's probably a safe bet that MOST people would buy the 2 MAX which figures out to 750 people buying them...and you cant tell me that at least 50 will filter out per day to industry professionals or "friends' of the Graffiti Team...so that leaves 700 people per day.

If you were at the door as soon as they entered and literally RAN tot he booth EVERY day first thing...there is a very slight chance you MAY be able to get all 5. However, the transaction time and line forming will probably take at least an hour a day to get through the whole process.

I would guess that the figures will be $20-$25 per...so I estimate that if you want all 5 you will be spending $200 for two sets sets and investing around 5 hours to collect them all...

It's worth pondering, but it just doesn't feel like a very good use of time and money unless you are a DIE HARD fan or at the very least a very shrewd scalper.

Yes, folks, brace yourselves...the ebay prices on a complete set is going to be astronomical. I would be very hard pressed to sell them to someone at cost after going through this potential headache.

Just keeping it real! :)

Reflection time.
The pics make these look great.
But in reality, what is the demand for Hal in all these colors?
I already have Hal in green, and have the opportunity to get that in multiple artists styles.

I think I'd rather have the already coming and expected easy to get Blackest Night assortments of characters. And yes, I am expecting a 3rd wave to be announced which includes an Orange lantern.

I think there will be more than 1500 collectors, fans and scaplers that would like a set of these at the con. I predict that the Graphitti booth will be a MAD HOUSE ever morning at 10:00am.

yeah, and since you can buy two, it will only take 750 people to burn through the stock (not that everyone will buy two, but I imagine a lot will--an extra for a friend or to sell to cover the costs).

I don't want to start a battle about the secondary market, but I can't really blame anybody for buying two each day and then selling the extra set for enough to cover the cost of both sets. It makes financial sense for the guy that invests the time and money to go to the con, and it does get a set out there for people who don't go to have a chance at getting it.

I kinda agree with Superfriend that unique characters from the series would be more fun than 5 Hals, but I'm still a big enough GL and fig fan to want these.

I agree that 5 unique characters would have been incredible but who would have paid for all that tooling? As it is, there are only 2 headsculpts between all 5 of those figures. And I am with Daniel, the Garffit booth is going to bee coo coo bananas all 5 days...these babies are going to FLY off the shelf.

Maybe the price will dictate how fast they sell.

Has anyone figured out what sculpt they are going with? I knida have to think that these are straight repeints of the most recent JLA Hal GL, but i haven't seen the Supes/Bats GL yet to make a comparison.

Any definitive word on whether or not these are new sculpts?
