My initial look thru the DC Direct gallery for Toy Fair 2010, and I see no reveals. In fact, I see almost no figures at all. Kind of odd.

I noticed the lack of anything new to be surprising as well.

Then I started thinking that DCD generally doesn't sell to mass market what with the "captive/dedicated" audience they have in the LCS'

The New Krypton figures look surprisingly good. I may have to cave and get those. I love the mini-series!

I like DC Chronicles statues; The Flash came out great! But they really need(ed) to fix Green Lantern's neck.

The DC Dynamics Supergirl's face is awful.

13-Inch KC Superman looks nice, but I am still skipping him...

Keaton Batman Statue looks too plain. But that may be the fault of the costume's design.

I love that HDCU Martian Manhunter. I would love an in-scale MM without the big brow.

The AFi DcDirect gallery has been updated with a ton of pics. More like what I was expecting.

I like the Superman: World of New Krypton offerings. A new suit for Clark, a new look for Brainiac. An updated Mon-El. And Super Woman. I could easily see this going to a second wave with Nightwing, Flamebird, General Zod, and Supergirl.

Also glad to see they had a number of already solicited waves on display. JLA Classified for example. The one thing still missing seems to be Blackest Night. I expected to see a few waves of that as well. Not stuff we haven't seen offered, but maybe waves 4 and 5 in 3D form.

The sculpt for the Dynamic SUpergirl statue is completely off base by miles....don't get me wrong, the craftsmanship is beautiful but it is not the girl people want to see...she looks like a boy from a Norman Rockwell painting in drag....not cute at all and seems COMPLETELY off from the rest of the series....I would rather see a Zatanna in a cloud of smoke like she was appearing....or maybe Hawkman with clouds around him...

It doesn't help that they seemed to have based her mouth off of the Joker from the Burton batman flick.
