I can find nothing at the Wonder Con website, or by searching the web. Wonder if it is BS? (Obviously the pics are BS, but the announcement???)

Not to rehash old wounds, but as someone lucky enough to get the set of 5 Hals from SDCC last year I can speak from experience that it was NUTS! I hope if this is an accurate post that Graphitti has their act together for this and any exclusives they have for 2010's SDCC.

Hal's really bounced all over in Blackest Night.

This flyer states that Graphiti will not be allowed to sell these on the internet. They will be available at the con only. This must have been the "SCREW the FANS" Clause in the contract.

Because all the fans were just so overjoyed at the Rainbow Hals from last year, Georg decided they should do a similar offering this year.

I think, like last time, it is DC Direct selling them through Graphitti Designs. DC Direct is not / does not set up to sell stuff at the cons, so they have Graphitti do it.

Like last time, I have no interst in the Hal figure. I am surprised at the Sinestro figure which I was convinced would be coming in Blackest Night wave 8 or so.

Well, putting White Lantern Sinestro as an exclusive really ticks me off. That character is a pretty big part of the ending to Blackest Night. I'm definitley going to reconsider finishing this line if I can't get a key character.

Let's just say there's a sequence in there that provides DC Direct with the perfect way to re-create the nightmare that was Rainbow Hal at this year's SDCC.

Multiple figures and tied into the upcoming "Brightest Day" storyline.

I hope they don't but I suspect they will and it'll be another round of stand in line like chimp for hours, pull a lottery ticket and MAYBE win a chance to give them your money.

For me there are two related questions:

1) Are these only available at Wondercon or will they be available at multiple cons?
2) How many figures are being made?

As Julius states on the Home page, the C2E2 website says they will be selling these figures. However, the Graphitti posting says that they are only available at Wonder Con. More figures means a larger supply and (hopefully) a lower price on eBay.

As someone who lived through the Rainbow Hal experience at SDCC as was lucky enough to get a set there, I REALLY don't want to go through this again.

On a related note, if these figures are only at Wonder Con, what will the SDCC exclusive be? There are a lot of easy repaints (yellow Scarecrow, Orange Luthor). I have not yet read Blackest Night #8 (waiting for the books to show up from DCBS) but will now be looking for what Spymagician is referring to in the previous post.

Nope. These are real. And I do think they will be at multiple cons.

They'll be at c2e2 this weekend. If anyone gets an extra set I'll trade you a Wondercon set for a c2e2 set.

Ah nice There's so many up on eBay now its gonna be flooded with more this weekend might be the best time to snag them on there.
