Wave 2 would probably also have another Batman variant to "anchor the wave". I guess they kept Poison Ivy out of wave 1 so that they could have another female character in wave 2, assuming this line gets a 2nd wave.

I'm assuming that they're going with blue on this one so they can have the properly-colored black version in a planned wave 2, because that is one crazy color change that is in no way accurate to the game design. I like the character choices though, Scarecrow and Harley had the most fun and different re-designs in the game so it's good to see them right out of the gate. Scarface is a fun bonus that I did not expect.

A wave 2 comprised of Batman, Bane, Killer Croc, and Poison Ivy makes sense given the remaining characters. Croc and Bane were so huge in the game though that to be scale accurate they might have to be deluxe figures.

Some of the character designs for this game (and toy line) strike me as something Macfarlane would do if he had a Batman license. Especially with the sexed-up lingerie-wearing versions of Harley and Ivy.

By the way.... why is Scarface included with the Joker figure and not a Ventriloquist figure? I haven't played the game, so is Scarface a sentient character and not just a puppet in the game?

That youtube video is probably why he'll come with the Joker, assuming he does. The Ventriloquist only shows up as a data/biographic file in the game.

The latest issue of ToyFare confirms Ivy and Zsasz included in the second set, along with two other figures that haven't been named yet.

Plus there are pictures of Ivy and Zsasz

Guess they anticipate this being a hot selling line if they already have wave 2 that far into production. As I recall, they don't usually confirm a 2nd wave before the first is even released.

But then, this ties in with a hugely popular video game with a sequel already in the works.
