A friend of mine picked me up a White Lantern Sinestro & Black Lantern Hal at C2E2 this weekend. he texted me that he spoke with Georg at the DC booth, and Georg told him the following:

1) White Lantern Sinestro & Black Lantern Hal will be available at SDCC
2) There will also be another DC Direct exclusive that is NOT Green Lantern related.

Complete rumor and unconfirmed, but my friend in neither a dealer nor an eBay scalper, so he has nothing to gain by this.

I hope it is correct, as the more Sinestro/Hal sets that are available the lower the price on eBay will be for those folks who cannot make a major show.

So far, sets of the BL Hal and WL Sinestro are going for about $150. I can't imagine the sets dropping much lower than $100 by then end of the summer con season UNLESS there is an announcement from Georg and Co. that we will see a "Rainbow Hal" box set of some sort at retail.

I would think that at some point though, the WL Sinestro, at the very least, will see release at retail in one form or another ... perhaps in the inevitable boxset with graphic novel that they seem to love doing...

I would Love a Rainbow Hal set in some form doesn't need to be the exact ones minor alterations of them would be fantastic.

I believe that DC Direct will put out a set of the Rainbow Hals with some minot tweak, so they diffrent than the ones sold at SDCC last year.

The prices for Black Hal and White Sinestro, are starting to come down now on eBay. There are several sets that end in a hour and they are only $65. And they will come down even more when they are sold at SDCC this year.

Until everyone who tries to get one at SDCC cant-- and then back up they go.

Are you sure these are being sold at SDCC? I thought these were limited to 1500 a piece, and were only at other cons.

Yeah I heard the same rumor. So there will be a total of 1500 pieces for Wondercon, C2E2, and SDCC for a total of 4500 figures each of black Hal and White Sinestro.
