I understand that Mattel is making a Kamandi action figure. I was hoping that DC Direct would make one in the Kirby style ala their New Gods line. Any chance for a Kirby Kamandi and/or O.M.A.C.?

No idea, but a Kirby Kamandi would be so so cool!

A Kirby Kamandi would need a new sculpt (and would be awesome), but DCD could use the New Gods figs to make OMAC. AFI member Rod Keith did a custom OMAC like that, and it looks pretty awesome. Scroll down in this thread:

For the record, I would love for DCD to produce more figures in the Kirby style. I want the rest of the new gods, the Newboy Legion, Jimmy Olsen, the Hairies (or at least just the leader), the Sandman, the Demon, OMAC, Kamandi, and all the rest that he created and/or defined during his stint at DC.
