Nothing against on-line retailing…but can I get a list going of brick and mortar stores that do a good job of ordering and stocking current DC Direct action figures?

Local comic shops are where I get mine.

The thing is to know the shops in your own area. There are no MSRPs, or expected prices for DC Direct stuff.

I can buy new DC Direct for 13.95, 14.95, or 19.95. It depends on the store. Then there is the New England chain "Newberry Comics" which sells mostly music and movies - which sets the price based upon the popularity of the character.

For older figures, I have 2 very good sources where they run 9.95 to 14.95 per figure.

Hastings Bookstores carry pretty much all of the DC Direct lines as they come out. You can check for local stores here:

I'm gonna check my local Hot Topic this weekend to see what they got. Checked my TRU last week. They didn't have much as far as DC Direct goes.

didnt suncoast go out of business- or is that just on the east coast?

Occasionally Borders or Barnes and Noble will stock a few (especially the ones packed with comics)

Hot topics by me have seem to eliminated their entire toy section (well except for the arbitrary Twilight figures that dont sell at TRU)
