Hey everyone,
Now I know most people were not happy with the DCD 1:6 13" Poison Ivy figure. Myself included. So having done face repaints before,I bought my 1:6 DCD Poison Ivy with the intention of doing a face repaint. Re-did her makeup completely with acrylic paints. I think it turned out nice. I think she went from looking like she was in her 50's to maybe middle 30's..haha
I also changed the costume a bit, changed the corset, gave the costume some lite metallic green glitter on the gloves,over her eyes and leaves in her hair and gave her green metallic leaves/vines that wrap around her boots.(Not pictured) Repainted her fingernails metallic green also. The red just looked weird to me. lol
I am happy with how it turned out. She is much easier to look at now..haha

I think you did an admirable job, but what it really proves is that the face sculpt is just plain bad!

Thank you. I agree 100% The face sculpt is so weak and not good at all..lol I still don't know what DCD was thinking with this one..haha
But I am happier with the way she looks now than before. I don't cringe when I look at her now..haha

Oh, you definitely improved on what you had to work with, no doubt!
