When DC Direct began & I saw the Hard Traveling Trio come out - I began to get an idea of how great it would be to have my favorite DC super teams on my shelves.

The first thing that I wanted was the 16 member bronze age Justice League of America! Well I won't go there in this post but DC Direct has NOT made me a happy camper with that one.

The second thing I wanted was a bronze age Justice Society of America. DC D has done much better on this one! OK, given my choice I would prefer the Egyptian helmet that Hawkman had for a little while but I am good with the hooded one. So when I got a custom Star Spangled Kid on eBay, that did not break the bank, I was set.

The third thing I wanted was The New Teen Titans. When that first NTT wave was announced, I thought that with all the love for the Perez/Wolfman NTT we were in for some smooth sailing. Wrong! We got a pretty decent Raven, Starfire, & Cyborg but the Kid Flash just did not look right with the other 3. Well that Kid Flash hangs out with my silver age Teen Titans now. In time we got a Crisis wave that gave us Wondergirl and a NTT wave gave us Robin.

I had hopes of seeing another NTT wave or History of the DCU wave that would give us a new Kid Flash! I am not feeling very hopeful at this point. So if you have made it this far as I ramble - my #1 DC Direct want is a new (Wally West) KID FLASH!

For the longest time for me it was a DCD Animal Man... but now I have one (yeah!)

I'd still like a Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters style Green Arrow. The Brightest Day one is close, and a really nice figure. But that's always been a cool design I've thought.

I'd also LOVE for them to make the Morrison era Doom Patrol.

Mine would have to be Tempest.

Even though he's currently dead, grown up Garth needs to be immortalized in plastic.

Has there ever been a 6" DCD Sgt Rock? I know there was that 1:6th scale...

I'd love a 6" line based on the Christopher Reeve Superman movie. It doesn't even have to be comprehensive. Just give me Reeves' Superman and Clark, Kidder's Lois, Hackman's Lex, and the trio of Zod, Ursa, and Non. DC Direct has produced statues and busts based on the Reeve Superman, so I'm surprised they haven't attempted to do a limited 6" line. Or does Mattel own the rights to doing that in their Movie Masters line? They're doing the 12" Zod and Superman figures, but I'm tired of hoping and waiting for them to do 6" scale versions.

On a related note, I'd love a 6" Michael Keaton Batman and Nicholson Joker too.

So that's my #1 want from DC Direct (or Mattel).

Yes. I've got him on my shelf. He comes with a removable helmet, rifle and a grenade that only sort of fits in his other hand.

Couldn't agree more with you. A DC Direct Rocket Red is long overdue. I agree he should have been in the JLI line.

My #1 DCD want would be the Secret Six in Minimate form. Or at the very least Deadshot and his heterosexual lifepartner, Catman.

I'd love to see DCD take a crack at the 4" scale.

I know they've considered it, and I think even sculpted a few figures....but, nothing has come of it.
