Wow. Nice, 1 fan demanded character, 1 new introduction, and 2 variants that beg the question "WTF?"

I'll wait until I see pics to pass judgement, but I expected better.

White Lantern Batman has been shown for a Brightest Day cover, but the Flash? I know I will get it, but really..?

This series has been good for us Aquaman fans, though.

Pics on the front page. (Don't be too hard on me, first day with a camera phone. Better pics are coming.) There have been alternate covers of various comics which showed all 12 of the returned characters as White Lanterns. The variant JSA 42 for example had White Lantern Hawkman on its cover. Somewhere there was also a poster of all 12 covers put together.

I don't own much DC Direct stuff (8 or 9 figures I think), but I'm not gonna pass up an opportunity to get Jade and Aqualad. Who knows if Mattel will ever get around to either of these.

I've been buying whichever came first, as long as I liked the sculpt, all along.

Superfriend....you will be posting better pictures right? I really want a good shot of Jade so I can put it as my picture on here....I am hoping that you get a better picture of her then what I have seen of her online. Some pictures you can't see her face. Thanks!

Nice Jade figure though.

Aqualad... well... it's fifty-fifty. I still have that wave of Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Warlord, Ryan Choi, Jaime Reyes from 2007. Of the set, I'm glad we got Choi and Reyes... while the rest have been undone since. (Yes, I know what happened to Choi in Titans but I ain't spoiling that here)

The figure that I found disappointing was the White Lantern Batman, why they couldn´t make a new sculpt for this figure instead of a repaint (very bad by the way) of the Batman of Justice League of America based on art by Ed Benes...

This wave just feels really odd. You cannot get all the White Lanterns unless you get Hal. Batman and Flash look odd without Hal. And these White Lantern versions are "flash in the pan" costumes for our characters. I want a White Lantern, but only one of someone that is going to be a White Lantern long term.

As for the new Aqualad, I'm still ticked that they killed off Tempest. That still seemed unnecessary in order to introduce the new Aqualad. We will have some time to see him in action before I have to decide.

Jade rubs me the wrong way right now because I just do not like the current JLA book.

After the ending of Brighest Day comic issue #13, out today, White Lantern Batman might just make a little more sense.

Sinestro, Hal, Barry, Bruce - you could have a whole section of these WL guys.

Meh. I already completed a Black Lantern zombie JLA, I'm not gonna start all over again with a "cold-water wash only" League.

(Then again, WL Batman could make a decent stand-in for Mark Millar's Nemesis.)

Jade's a get, though. Between her and Mera, this is a total woman's power series!

Supposedly, DC Direct will resolict White Lanterns Batman and Flash for a future wave. The pictures of these should be out on Monday, when DC Comics release their solicts for comics coming out in March and toys that come out on August.
