Today's solicits - on the front page - is Justice League: Heroes and Foes.
If you will allow me some liberty in ordering the names of the characters included, the list could look like this.
Batman Flash WonderWoman Joker
This line up looks way too similar to the last two offerings:
DC Online: Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Catwoman. Flash Point: Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg.
3 Batman 3 Wonder Woman 2 Flash 2 Cyborg Catwoman Joker
It just seems too focused on the same characters. Considering the status of my current collection, I'm considering Catwoman. I've decided I need a Cyborg, but with his being in the JLA, there is a chance a Jim Lee JLA Cyborg may be solicited before these arrive.

What exactly is the point of this wave? Is this the start of an all-inclusive, universe spanning line from DC Direct including heroes and villains in one consistent scale (yeah, right )? Is it the remnants of left over figures from the "old regime"? Are these supposed to represent the end of "Brightest Day" DCU before we transition to the new ...??? These aren't "artist specific", they aren't "storyline based", they aren't DCnU... so what gives? Like you Superfriend, I can easily pass on this wave as it is simply too much of the same too close together.

As far as I'm concerned, the point of this wave is to get another Wally West Flash into my grubby little mitts. In which case, sign me up. I kind of like the Wonder Woman, too, though I would remove the choker if I bought her.

Well, so far I'm only maybe interested in 2 out of the four figures announced for the DCUC sub. For this one particular wave of DC Direct figures, I'm definitely picking up 2, and maybe interested in the other 2, which I can decide when I am able to look at them before putting down cash to purchase. Trying not to be too snarky, but is everytime someone says something not 100% positive about any Dc product, is someone else is going to jump in about the magical cure-all pitch perfect matty subscription? I like mattel's figs, but I've always prefered DC Direct's product. I'm not a completist for either company and I'm mostly a Batman & Green Lantern "family" collector.

Never said DCUC sub is a magic cure-all so I don't know where you got that. What I said was if the DCUC sub doesn't go through, all of us DC 6" figure collectors will have to settle for what DC Direct produces. And if this preview by DCD is anything to go by, then there's really not much to look forward to. At least for me, that's the case. I'm glad you found something interesting in this re-hash.

Mattel is still going to have a 6-inch DCU line available at retail.

The Wonder Woman looks like she is supposed to be the Oddyssey(terrible)version.

Isn't that Wally's costume? Or has Barry changed his? I haven't been reading The Flash, so I'm not sure.

Is that wonder woman the same wonder woman from the DCD wonder woman figure series? That headsculpt and body posture look familiar. May get it juz for the head to mod with my other figures.
