That sums up how I feel about them. Mattel's sculpts just strike me as so generic, but even the few that might have interested me are compromised by the articulation. I'm just not concerned with being able to pose 6" figures (especially at mid-thigh ).

Ugh. That's terrible news.

Oh, well. Hasbro is cranking out more than enough great 3¾" figures to keep me busy.

I wouldn't buy one, but a life sized Doctor Fate helmet would be pretty sweet.

What's the likelihood of DST getting the DC rights now and continuing on with the Minimates line?

Please say it's at least 50%. My wallet and I would both cry (for very different reasons).

I'm so glad it never came out. If it had, i would have had to find a way to buy one, would have had to figure out how to display it, then my wife would have killed me.

DCD seems to be still making figures. The DC blog just showed the 1st wave of new Flashpoint figures. They look awesome, well mostly. I am not so sure about the Flash. The Wonder Woman is great, but the Cyborg figure is outstanding. Best Modern Cyborg ever!

Especially since it says they're coming out Summer 2011. Wouldn't those figures have been solicited by now? Brightest Day's third wave is out in August.

They may still be making figures... but whatever that is going on behind the scenes is a mess. Just trying to get a toy fair appointment is becoming more trouble than it's worth to cover their product.
