Agreed, after really liking a lot of the Blackest Night and Brightest Day sculpts, the Flashpoint Batman and Flash feel very flat. Cyborg is the one I am looking forward to.
It would be interesting to see what DC would choose for a second wave based on this event. Not just who I would want, but what DC would make. For instance, I don't need another Deathstroke, but I've been expecting a new version since he took over the lead spot in the Titans book. Aquaman looks visually interesting, but does he generate enough sales to justify a new version so soon after his Brightest Day version? What about a brand new character like the Catebury Cricket? Is Zoom too obvious? Or could we finally get Frankenstein?

I will be picking up Flash but I have to agree, he just looks really off somehow. Or maybe it is that he just doesn't seem that dynamic when I compare him to the designs for Wonder Woman, Cyborg and even that Batman? He just isn't different enough for me I guess. Although I am digging the symbol and it looks like the belt and forearm accents might be sculpted.. That would be awesome, but I'm not holding my breath.
I personally can't wait until we see Citizen Cold and maybe another Rogue or two (crossing my fingers for Weather Wizard). It actually would be nice to get an updated Bart Allen. We haven't had a figure of him since Teen Titans Series 2.

My new predictions for a wave 2:
1. Abin Sur 2. Prof Zoom 3. Superman - I know, we have not seen him yet, but its likely.
and for the 4th slot, I'd like to see DC Direct risk it on a previously unmade character.
Frankenstein?
or maybe one of the brand new ones like
The Outsider Canterbury Cricket

I'd like a White Lantern Abin Sur.

I picked up three of the figures from the first wave this week. Batman was gone but my LCS is going to get another set of the first wave. Really like the Wonder Woman and Cyborg figure.

I finally liked and eventually bought The Flash (Barry Allen) and Thomas Wayne Batman. Very good figures, despite the lack of articulation compared with the last DCD releases such as Batman Incorporated line.
