Years ago, one of my favorite reads was L.E.G.I.O.N. I was glad to see it come back lately, but I did not have the budget to add it to my pull list. Even so, I would have liked to see DC Direct take a stab at figures from this team of outer space heroes.

1. Virl Dox. This guy just oozes manipulation. Sure, Max Lord manipulates people, but Dox does it on a whole other level, bribing some, blackmailing others, even murder to get done what he needs done as I recall.

2. Captain Comet. One of DC's great space heroes of the 50's. Captain Comet ended up on the original team when Adam Strange was suddenly "not available". And this would be a cool way to finally get DC Direct to make him.

3. Lobo. Yes, Lobo. In the original series, Dox gets both Lobo AND Garryn Bek to work for him when Bek accidentally kills one of Lobo's "friends", a space dolphin. Virl pays Lobo to work for him and as long as Bek works for Dox, Dox gets Lobo to promise not to kill Bek. So Bek has to work for him.

4. Strata. The rock-like member of both eras of LEGION. Strata gives the line more of the alien feel a line tied to this series should have.

What do you think of this proposed line up?
Would you buy DC Direct figures base on this team/comic?
Who would you like to see made in a line devoted to this comic/team?

I'd love to get some figures from these teams as well.

Add on a second wave with Stealth and baby Dox, a "true-form" Durlan, a Dominator (since they were the ones responsible for the team forming in the first place), and a Khundian (maybe with interchangeable heads for some "army building")

This could be a great way to get to all those prominent aliens in the DCU that often get overlooked and ignored.

What about all the aliens that were tied to the "Invasion" event from the late 80's?
