Hey everyone. Just started collecting DCD. I really like the AC line since the game was so good. I just got the joker SDCC sick variant off GD. I really love the line so far!

Anyone ever manage to pick up the AA bane figure? Just wondeering if you have why is it now so pricey and rare?

Sounds like we are in the same boat and playing catch up. Are you trying to pick him up in a set or individually? I've found that folks are asking more from him individually than in a set because he's the must have in that particular wave. Seems for the most part these figures are costing the stores around $20 per unless they ordered in bulk and not a lot of people did judging by the lack of presence online(at a reasonable price).

He's going for 174.99 on Toywiz.com. That website has everything overpriced. Look at the cost of some jlu. They always have pre-orders and new arrivals though. Believe it or not before I Came here I always looked on that page for new jlu. I remember wanting a figure of livewire. And I was so happy to see it in a 3 pack!

Toywiz isn't the basis to all online stores and isn't anyone I'd buy from personally. Looking at eBay it appears everyone has lost their flipping minds. I wouldn't pay that much for him or my missing waves. I'd continue to look around and be patient if I were you :wink:

Yeah I never buy from Toywiz, it's just a good place to get notified. And I will probably end up waiting for a deal since that figure is not worth $200.

he's a big heavy figure, great detail and look to him

That's quite a collection you have there. I remember seeing a few of the Banes at my local comic shop, and I thought I'd just pick one up next time I was in.....no luck. They were all gone, and now I wish I'd grabbed it. Oh well...learned my lesson I guess. Maybe one will turn up down the road or maybe eBay prices will come down eventually

I know this is sort of a late reply but I know that the prices of this particular collection are incredibly high for some reason. They're not really that old figures.. I've seen the SDCC Batman and NYCC Joker go for a lower price than the regular Bane.

However, I do remember seeing a site not so long ago, that was offering preorders for a 3rd release of the series due to come out in 2012. I'll post the link if I find it.
