Questions for DC Collectibles at SDCC
1. Are there any plans to sell the 3.75" GL Sets online for those who could not make it to the conventions?
2. Many fans like to collect 3.75" figures. Are there any plans for DC Collectibles to offer an ongoing line of DC Universe 3.75" figures beyond the Green Lantern figures?
3. If DC Collectibles decides to release more 3.75" figures, would they be based on the "New 52" designs only, or include some of the "Classic" DC Universe characters?
4. Would DC Collectibles consider releasing a line of 3.75" figures based on the "DC Universe Online" video game? (Please, please, please)

So, DC Direct(or whatever they are called now) is making stunning looking 3 3/4 inch action figures. These will not be sold at retail. These are convention exclusive. Am I correct so far?
It's a little bit disappointing that Mattel couldn't pull this off with all of their considerable resources. If Infinite Heroes looked this good, we'd still have Infinite Heroes at retail.
I guess these are con exclusive so that DC doesn't Directly Compete with their licensee, Mattel.
Does this also mean that Mattel is pretty much finished with the 3 and 3/4 inch scale at retail?

Sounds like the con-only thing might not be set in stone, thank god. Bored as I am of GL stuff, these still look great, and I can't wait for them to get to the rest of the DCU.

Essentially, DC Collectibles is taking a page from Mattel because making action figures is such a scary proposition in this day and age. As Mattel just threw out the 1st MOTUC He-Man at a con to gauge interest, DC is doing this with a 3 3/4" line. Apparently Marvel Universe's brand dominance wasn't a clear enough sign that well made comic book action figures at this scale will sell well. So having this line turn into a full property online is all up to the "buzz" they hear over the next 4 days. I have a friend picking up the 2 pack so I've put in my 2,500 pennies
