I swung by the DC Collectibles booth at Toy Fair on Sunday to check out upcoming figures, and the DC rep told me that the company would be releasing the popular Hush figures again. Apparently, retailers have been asking for them for some time, and DC is meeting built-up demand.

This is good news for collectors who never picked them up the first time around. They are quite expensive on the secondary market.

The figures I saw included Harley Quinn, Joker, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy and Stealth Jumper Batman.

They are currently hunting for the tooling for the other figures in the line. If they find it there should be re-releases of them too.

So does this mean I can buy new versions- and get refunds for my old ones that fell apart at all the elbow and knee joints..

Been waiting for the Mattel Huntress to finally show up so some demand for this Huntress would go down.

Will these be modified in any way at all? I think the Hush Joker remains the best figure of that character ever made. The design, articulation and paint are all perfect, and the Mattel versions look crude beside it. The only problem: the absurd decision to sculpt his trick gun into his hand! If he came with an empty hand and a different accessory, I might well buy him again.

I assume you are talking about the JIM LEE designed series... Had 3 waves and 5 figures each wave? (Wave 1 had a special 6th figure)

I loved the series. Picked everyone up and display them proudly. I wish they had made more. But at the time, ALEX ROSS Justice had come out and I think they ended up making them instead.

Anyway, cool to here it come out as a re-release.

I picked up the Hush Huntress a few months back off of evilBay for 19.38 plus 6 dollars in shipping. I don't think that is too horrible. A quick search brought up a couple in that price range or a little less. Not bad at all if you ask me.

Unfortunately like most of the people here the pin in her right arm snapped. I managed to hot glue the piece back together and work it around to retain articulation but I wouldn't mind a new one.

I wonder if they will fill in that bare stomach. I really hope they do. I don't know who made the alterations to Mr. Lee's original design but they definitely made the right move. Exposed skin (no kevlar, no nothing) and fighting armed villains all the time...ok...

Yes, those are the ones I meant. Very nice-looking figures, IMO. I have a few of them, but I was never able to complete the set. They were just too darned expensive on eBay.

I picked up the 3 pack (god I hate this format)-last week --- Jump Bats, Joker and Harley--
just so everyones aware-- there are some paint deco variations from the original release-- so I would more call these repaints then direct rereleases--

THe Harley has a much more metallic like sheen to her than the original figure-- and a much more glossier paint job.. (I dont have the original Joker or Bats- so I cant tell you much about them-- but they look brighter as well.)

Not yet-- but Barnes and Nobles had a huge endcap display of DC collectibles-- including the 7 pack , the 3-3/4 2 packs and a bunch of the individual figures-- maybe they will get them at some of the stores..
